I'm here today to express my concern over my daughter Cory and her participation in Kitty Fight Club. As her mother, I'm biased. She is the absolute cutest kitten in the world to me. My worry is her maintaining her sense of self-esteem and worth with so many judging her. I catch her at the computer obsessing about the results. I think I may need to put my paw down.Thanks to the wonderful support of the CB, she has done well. But what if she loses her match with Baby Patches? Last I looked she was trailing a bit. Will she be able to handle it? Can she handle the pressure? It's my duty as a mother to ensure that she is emotionally supported no matter what the outcome. Even if she pulls out a win, I need to make sure she doesn't get all full of herself. Her sweet innocence is what makes her so special.
No matter what, I'm here to support my daughter.PS...vote Cory! (I couldn't help myself...) That doesn't make me a stage mother, does it?
PSS...Grete goes in to the V-E-T Monday morning for her spay surgery. Purr along with us for her speedy recovery.

Just tell Cory not to take it all too seriously, as it's all supposed to be a bit of good fun! She's got some particularly tough competition with Baby Patches, but I think this is gonna be a close race.

Tell Cory she will be okay whatever the outcome. I must admit, it does bruise the ego a little bit at first, but it was great for extra attention from my mom. I survived the loss and am still here to talk about it.

And my opponent didn't visit after the match to say some nice words - left me laying in the ditch. It's pretty tough keeping one's sanity about oneself when involved in these beauty competitions. I think Cory is pretty wise beyond her years and will remain innocent and modest long after KFC has ended. :)
Cory is cute and will be still cute if she wins or loses KFC. Tell her not to worry. I may be joining her soon wiv the niptinis as Monkey is getting lots more votes than me today. So we can commiserate together!

We just checked out the KFC site and Cory is holding her own. Yay! We are facing similar issues over here but, after such a hard fight in the quarter final, we have now decided that the important thing is the journey. People have been so supportive and we love that. So, what if we lose? Those who love us will still love us just as much!
