Let The Games Begin!
Entries are now closed. We have over 50 entries, so a panel of judges will be reviewing the entries and will be determining the "finalists". Finalists will be determined no later than July 28th and a poll will be posted so kitties/woofies/humans can vote on the winners.
Here are the competitors:
Archie from Cat's Cats showing us a whole new way to think about doors.
Ben and Kip from Cat's Cats.
Ben from Cat's Cats. Wow Ben, you are brave!
The next 3 photos are from Willow showing her mount, routine and dismount.
Laila showing deep concentration as her brother Minchie coaches her along.
Huffle showing style in everthing she does.
Cathy Keisha, or better known as CK to her furriends.
Mia, strutting her stuff.
Guido looking very focused.
The next 2 photos are Domino, demonstrating versatility in her use of apparatus
Dylan has been training with his sister Domino, so in the next 2 photos he too shows his ability to master different equipment.
Oui Oui demonstrates incredible skill in headboard walking. Falling off could result in unplanned waking of humans!
Next, we have Madi, showing creativity in balance beam material.
Next we have the beautiful Truffle, with all four paws in a very difficult pose. Notice the concentration on her precious face.
Truffle joins with her sister Brulee for a team effort. Careful girls, if you fall, you'll end up in the litter box!
My sister Jonesie's bestest pal Alfie makes his mom VERY anxious as he balances high above his brother Milo...way down below offering to spot him.
The next 2 entries made mom giggle...
First up is Princeton
Then, not to be outdone in bathroom humor department...we have YinYin wowing us with her ability to balance without tipping over the litter box.
Here is Maggy flying high and showing off her tail.
Next up on the beam is Mirsku showing us a very original move.
Lucy is very confident on the fence apparatus.
Hannah not to be outdone by Lucy makes it look easy. Trust me...it's not!
Little Isis wants us all to know that success on the balance beam is all about being relaxed
Jasper is an opportunist who takes advantage of a fallen tree in his yard to balance.
My pal Wally meows...who said the balance beam had to be under your paws! Wally, was this your prep just before doing a back flip?
Next, the talented Faraday demonstrates skill and bravery on the shower door! Whoa!
OMC! Grete was quite excited to finally see an entry from a woofie! Roo is going to give the kitties a run for the gold!
Next we have Pidgeon who lives with a bunch of woofies. She's strutting her stuff and hoping she has what it takes!
Next up is Allie...she is such a pro, so relaxed and making it look easy. See how close she is to the light fixture...whoa!
Lexi has learn much from Allie in her short time as a foster kit with Allie and family. See how she purrfectly aligns all 4 paws? Brilliant.
Waiting to perform next are 3 fur siblings...first up is Pumpkin balancing on a carrier in a ::shudders:: car!
Then we have EK WAY up high on the beam as he approaches the cabinets!
Candy was not about to let EK take all the glory so she too has her turn on the high beam!
Next up, balancing beautifully on the fence is Ayla.
What's this? Grete woofie is wagging her tail because the following entries were submitted by woofies!
Here is Shawnee strutting her stuff
Next is Bailey
Weenie is next, demonstrating ability on the curved beam.
Not to be outdone by fursibling Weenie, Mona shows us how it's done.
Here we have Sarge, turning the beam into a bridge...um...whoa what if there was water under there?
Ok, back to the kitties now...
We have the talented Poupounette gang up next.
And finally Bibi-Chan
Next we have Ducky in a series of photos. When I saw these I sang "Ducky to the left, Ducky to the right, stand up sit down fight fight fight." Yeah, I'm silly that way.
Next, flying high is Flynn. Talk about high degree of difficulty!
Now we have our pal Nicki on the beam...we just purr he stays inside his yard!
The next competitor to hop on the beam is the beautiful Scylla.
Way up high we now have Charli. Be careful up there!
Next is Uncle Bob, with a relaxed approach to the beam.
Next we have fursiblings competing against each other. First up is Sima with an original move.
Followed by Pasha who is getting in the grove of the ESS.
Next in a very special move, we have a synchronized beam entry from Maestro and Ivy.
The next athlete is Coco way up high! I think that beam isn't very wide either. Whoa!
And last but not least we have the fursiblings Bugsy and Knuckles.
First up is Knuckles.
Our last competitor, Bugsy.
But WAIT...one more entry from Teddy.
We hope you have enjoyed seeing the amazing talented woofies and kitties. Good luck to all participants. Finalists will be chosen by July 28th and the blogosphere will be able to vote for the winner.
