Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

Spring is getting off to a slow start. It was rainy and cold this past weekend which cut back on my garden time. I chose to spend all day Saturday curled up in the house, taking a day off from gardening duties. When I got back outside, I saw that the daffodils finally decided to show their color! I thought you'd never get here There was even a wee bit of grape hyacinth starting to bloom.
So glad to see you But most important, the catnip patch is coming along nicely.
grow little nip patch grow Mom and dad have been super busy so they still have lots of garden clean up, so they better get busy. I can't do this all by myself!
PS, it was nice of so many of you to stop by and wish my sister Cory a Happy Birthday. She was so taken with Parker's idea to send 25 cents to Beaufort Community Cat Project in honor of Cal for each birthday wish comment that she insisted my mom do the same thing. We'll be counting up all the comments this weekend to see how big the contribution will be in honor of Cal. So far between Parker and Cory there are over 100 comments!!!

You have a lovely garden and you look just like a calendar cat in those photos...you could make some green papers if you sold a Jonesie Gardencat Calendar!

Our nip is coming in too, as well as the daffies and the grape hyacinth...just like yours!
