I enjoy the newspaper. Probably not in the way most humans to, but I do enjoy it. I don't understand the concept of reading it. That's why I sit on the paper and don't allow my humans to read it. If I don't want to read it, why should they?
The news these days is hard to swallow, I admit. Even though I don't want to read it, I do think it's good for a little nibble. Yes, the newspaper does taste pretty good, even when the news itself is distasteful.
I don't understand why my mom is chasing me away, this is good stuff! BTW, the news around here has centered on my new brother Nigel. He's still progressing slowly but he is doing well. My momma Ellie shared mild hisses with him and so did Bennette, but it's all very mild mannered. I'm still not sure about meeting him. I did take a peek but I ran in the other direction!

We rarely get the paper here unless they need it start the woodstove. I bet it would be comfy. I enjoy the silky feel of a good magazine, no black sooty stuff on my paws to worry about later!

Newspaper against the bum is risky business. You could end up looking like the young red bear from the Charmin commercial who is playing football and bends over, revealing he has toilet paper scraps attached to his rear. Don't let that embarassing moment happen to you, Cory!
Cory...we sit on the paper so the beans can't read all the bad news and be sad...we want them to be happy and pay attention to us all the time!
the newspaper is so fun! I like to dig under it for my toys. my mommy buries them under an open page. it also keeps them from reading the awful news. yuck.

I'm always in trubble for ripping up Mom's newspaper too. Once, I ripped up some letters she's put in envelopes to be posted. She said a norty word and gave me "the look".
