Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

Mom and dad got so sappy about a video they took of Ellie and Cory on the first day they arrived in this house back in 2006. They made us suffer through watching again.  I mean Ellie and Cory liked it.  Mom and dad liked it.  You should have heard them fuss.

It was enough to make me wanna hack up a hairball.  I mean, I didn't even live here yet.  Did they take endless video of me on my first days here?

NO!

The biggest news of the past week is that mom was finding dad's socks on the kitchen counter.  She couldn't figure out why he would leave his socks there.  That was...until she heard the singing.

I actually caught little Cory, all 8 pounds of her, leaping up to the counter with a giant sock in her mouth.  Singing her heart out the whole time.

And did mom get mad?  NO!

She just made more of a fuss over the little whippersnapper.

It's time I came up with a signature move of my own.  But what?  It seems that exposing my belly isn't quite enough to keep me out of trouble.

I think Gemini can commiserate with you--after all she is not the favorite either...

Ginger, look at it this way - Binga gets in trouble ALL the time, more than 10 normal cats combined - and she is still everybody's favorite cat! Except for my human, who says she loves us all equally, even though I am (ahem!!) the breadwinner amongst them.

Ginger, maybe you could start burying the socks in the cat box? That might get you some attention.

Yeah, I bet it wouldn't have been cute if it was your daddy that left them on the counter... it's awesome how much we get away with!!

Some cats just get too much attention. But we love your tummy.

Ginger, we think you are a beauty and Jack would love to give you all kinds of attention. Too bad you are competing with the antics of a tiny cat. I think sometimes Jack gets tired of little 6 pound Baby being fussed over.

Well, Ginger, it must be pretty cute to see Cory with socks in her mouth and singing up a storm. Ernie gets lots of attention around here because he's got those bigs feets! So what if he's got a few extra toes?? That should make him a freak! Not special!!

We think you are very special as you are, Ginger! You don't need any gimmicks!

We agree with the Monkeys, Ginger. You're wonderful just as you are, no "gimmicks" needed at all!

I'm involved in a daily battle of the cute with a tiny cat, too. They're tough competitors, aren't they. We could just squash them, maybe? I don't know how that would go down with the parentals though.

Ginger, maybe you could drag your Mom's unmentionables around? Or--Salem says--shred paper towels!

We see another sock on the floor!

Miss Bennette, Sylvester says he'll be happy to stare at you ALL day...preferably from real close up! xx

Just think about it, Ginger -- you already have your signature move -- and that is being a gossip!

That's why you have ever Tuesday devoted to you, and you get to speak to mind!

Not all of the kitties at your house get to do that! Seems like you're very special to me.

Tummy exposure works really well here... are you giving the full monty with full belly exposure? What about the paw placement?
