It's my 9th Gotcha Birthday today!!! I was rescued from my very own garden back in 2002. I was about 2 years old when I was saved, so that makes me about 11 years old. I think I'm the luckiest cat in the world. I've got a great family, a great home, an amazing garden to call my own and the best furriends in the whole world.
My pal Alfie Marshall made the journey all the way from England. I tried to tell him that the garden party would be washed out. We've had days and days of rain and by the time it's done we'll have about 10 days straight of rain. But Alfie said that was ok, we'd use an umbrella to keep us dry.

No GotchaBirthday celebration would be complete without reflecting how it was when I first arrived here. You can read the story if you didn't already know it. It doesn't make me sad anymore, just makes the celebration much more meaningful.
Niptinis and cheese platters are inside the house, so let's get dry and go eat!

SS thought the same happened to me. Someone just abandoned me and moved away, because I was and still am not the sort of kitty that would run away from home.

When I got my Molly from the shelter she had been found in a cardboard box with her kittens, someone had just thrown her away. I will never understand what kind of person could do that!

Almost every kitty in our neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhood is a rescue from either the farm across the street (like me) or the park down the street. Sad that people are just so lazy / stupid they dump them.
