Tabby Tattletale Wordy Wednesday

I had a most upsetting week. We had invaders in our yard. The evidence was clear. While we were asleep and my mom and dad and Grete were slacking...they came. The water bowl was tipped on it's side and the water was dirty. That could only mean one thing. Raccoons... I was left on my own to investigate. No one would help me. Can you believe that! No one cared. Where's agent 007.5 when you need him? Doesn't anybody care about me? It's my water dish afterall, but....but...sigh.
When I looked in the tree, all I found was the evil squirrel. He was saying nothing...
I sniffed and I sniffed, but the little beasts were nowhere to be found. They had the wrath of Ginger to contend with...sticking their dirty paws in MY water...

They never did show their faces.

Meanwhile, during the time I was defending our turf...little miss Cory squirt and her momma and Bennette and big tough Nigel were inside playing with their new toys. Could they be bothered to do the real work of a real cat? NO! And you know what...Nigel's favorite toy? Tee hee! It was the hot pink catnip underpants!!!! I'll never tell. Right. Oh and another thing...I have it on good authority that Nigel had to be locked in a room for a bath because he sat his hind end in the litter box! Ewwww! He had litter all stuck to him. When I have a spare moment I need to instruct him on the fine art of hovering over the litter. Boys!

Poor Ginger! It's not a good feeling to be invaded like that -- knowing some other creature was in your water bowl, and then disrespected it like that! O Noes!

You are indeed quite the gossip. I'm sure Nigel wanted his private business spread all over the internet! LOL!

Aw, poor Ginger, you're always stuck with the tough jobs. It's a good thing they have you to do the investigative work, some day they'll appreciate you!

We're laffin' at Nigel and his pink underpants...maybe he needs a real pair so he doesn't get dirty in the litterbox... Just sayin'. MOL

Purrs and hugs,

Be careful of those raccoons - stay in at night so you don't have to tangle with them. They can give a nasty bite and sometimes carry rabies.

How funny about Nigel and the pink underpants! Not so funny about the litterbox. I have had such a problem occasionally and the cleanup is not fun for me or my folks!

There are lots of raccoons at the Swamp and all sorts of other critters. That is one reason Mom will not let us go Outside once we move there. We do hope we will have a screened room someday but someday is the only day of the week that never seems to get here. :sigh:

Poor Ginger. Did you get your water bowl cleaned out so you have fresh water again? We like that Nigel's favorite toy is the hot pink underpants.

We always love your catitude, Ginger! Although we think you should join your housemates for a little tumble with some new toys !

A kitty's work is never done. Get the slackers inside to help you track down the culprit.

Ginger, it looks like you did a great job keeping the intruders away - but could it have been the evil squirrels that did it? It seems like something they might do too.

That is funny about Nigel liking the hot pink underpants the best - so hilarious!
