Monday Meezer Memories

I've been helping out a lot since my mom injured her hand and it is in a splint. I had to help her paw through old pictures to find enough to put together a memorial of the cat who started it all, Morgan. I've only heard stories, but she is legendary around here.Anyway, we put together this video tribute. We would have completed it in time for World Cat Day, but we were a little slow. You'll need to turn on the sound because we have added Morgan's theme song to the show.

Morgan was born in 1979 and left for the Bridge on January 27, 1998. Also appearing in the video are pictures of our Borzoi Callie, Maxfield the apricot wondercat and Nimue the sweet baby meezer.

We truly adored Morgan's milky white nosie and mouth and that the contrast got stronger when she matured in her meezerness. What an amazing age she reached. Mom is silly, she's all teary eyed thinking about how much she and your mommy saw together. A great friend!

What a beautiful tribute. Morgan was a gorgeous girl, she wore her regal name well:) The photos of her and Maxfield made mum's jaw drop, the body language reminded her so much of the two of us:) Thankyou for sharing some of your memories of Morgan with us.

What a beautiful tribute to Morgan. Mom says she understands just how sad it must have been to lose Morgan after 19 years ~ because Henry (the Lilac Point Siamese who came before us) was 19 years old when he died. Mom said that is half a lifetime and it is no wonder Morgan was your Mom's best friend and Henry was hers. It is heart breaking to lose a beloved cat or kitten at ANY age ~ but somehow time/age DOES NOT make it any easier. If anything it is even more painful because it leaves such a hole in your life. Mom still cries for loss of Henry (and he died nearly 5 years ago).

So thank yoo for sharing Morgan's beautiful photos.

Milo and Alfie xx
Mom sends ((((((hugs)))))) too.

What a wonderful tribute to a beautiful and very spunky cat (or so it seems) -- what a character! Was Morgan a Birman? She has a very unique look.
And it always nice to see your other Guardian Angels Maxfield, Callie and Nimue. I hope they're all keeping each other company over on the bridge!

Oh that was a great tribute video. Thanks for sharing Morgan, as well as Maxfield, Callie and Nimue, with us. Our Mommy wishes that she had more pictures of her cats-who-have-gone-before. She has quite a few, but not tons. Your video is wonderful though.

Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew

A nice tribute. My cousin cat, Rufus2, is named for the first Rufus. he used to sleep with Momma when she would visit there.
We are all the first cats in the household, but our Momma loved cats and grew up with them.

What a sweet memorial! Nineteen years is a long time, but there's never enough years with those you love. My Snowball (was my dad's cat) will be 15 next month and I can't imagine the house without her. Maxfield was the same color as my Lucky.
