Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

I love to lick mom's fingers.  They taste pretty good.  I love that she remembered to bring me turkey leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner.  Mom did not cook for us and so while we waited patiently for mom and dad to return home we never doubted that they would come in the door with a bag full of bird for us.

Grete got invited in for dinner but got a little bit upset by our 3 little cousin woofies.  She asked to go back to the car and wait.  Grete's a little silly that way.  It turned out ok, because we ended up sharing our turkey with her. There was plenty to go around.  I think she didn't want to eat without us kitties by her side.

I put the bitey on moms fingers sometimes too, but only nice and gentle.  I've got to be good now that Santa has started watching me.

I gave mom and dad a funny scare on Monday night.  I like to go outside to do my business (you wouldn't expect me to share a litter box with mancats would you?).  I went outside for a few minutes and when I came back to the door to come inside, my mom smelled skunk!  She was all nervous because she didn't know if I had been skunked or if the skunk was just out there somewhere.  When I came in mom gave me a nervous sniff and then was so happy that I didn't stink.  I got hugged a lot when she realized it was just sweet smelling me!

Your human thought the skunk skunked you, Ginger? How silly! We kitties know that it's only dogs who are dense enough to get sprayed! It's happened to the dog here - more than once, which only proves my point.

How nice of Grete to want to eat with his kitty siblings only! Turkey must taste yummy, if it's anything like ham. I've never had it before.

I also licked the Woman's fingers clean when she had turkey. And they had some more tonight and it was good!

That Grete is an exceptional woofie!

Skunked? Never! We bet those skunks were scared of YOU, Ginger.

We're glad you all got turkey leftovers, though are sorry Grete felt a bit overwhelmed. That's okay, she still got her share!

We're also glad you didn't get skunked!

My dear Ginger, I think you would smell lovely even if you were skunked. Because your sweet smell would mix with the skunk and overpower it and then you wouldn't even smell the skunk. That's what I think, anyway :)

We're very glad you don't have any skunk smell, Ginger. That would have been awful.

We put the bitey on our Mom's fingers (and arms, and legs) sometimes too. We're going to try to stop while we wait for Santa.

Ginger, Mommy says she KNOWS you must smell wonderful! She can tell just by looking at you. We are finger (and hand and head) washers too. Daddy gets specially filthy and we wash him a lot.
Does Grete think she's a Cat? That would be cool!

Greetings,

We are glad to learn that mum brought you some leftover of the bird and shred it with you. However we are very grateful that you did not get sprayed by a skunk and were sweet smelling when mum took you in her arms.

Warmest regards,
Ms K and Egmont

Hi Ginger! We are glad that you got turkey! And we do like to put the bitey on mom sometimes too - but gentle like you do! And we think it is so sweet that Grete wanted to eat with you kitties!

And boy, we are glad you didn't get sprayed by a skunk - you know what would have happend if you did - bath! And how can you be good when you are forced into a bath (if it had happend we think Santa would have understood).
