Thursday In The Garden With Jonesie

Meow!  It's been very wet and icky this past week and some of our garden beds are getting out of control.  It's up to me to point this out to my dad so he can take care of it.  Good news is, spots like this are nice for a nap if they aren't too soggy.
I  snoopervised while dad built this nice place for our bean plants to grow up  nice and strong.  No beans have popped out of the dirt yet, so I'll have to watch closely and meow to them so they come up.
My squashie plants are getting bigger everyday.  The good news is there has been no need to water since Mother Nature's watering can is taking care of it.
Our lupine bloomed.
And the clematis bloomed too!  Mom adores the deep purple flowers.  I think they go well with my fur colors.
Well...since it's soggy, I'm going to spend my time hanging out on the BBQ.   I can mostly stay dry here and still survey my garden and make sure all is under control.
Hope you are getting nice sunbeams in your garden.  Please leave a link so all the garden cats can gather together!

Just wait until you get a little sun, Jonesie, and things will pop up like crazy!

BTW, How are things with you and the new compost maker? Still dicey?

The rain kinda washed out my garden and I am staying indoors most of the time. Come by and see what I have been up to.

We hope all the rain stops and you can spend more time out in the garden, Jonesie! But the rain does make the flowers and plants grow....

We love the purple clematis. Some of our plants died cause we got too much rain. (sigh) One of our squash isn't going to make it. But overall it looks good and we has sunshine right now. Mommy thinks it may rain cause it is windy. ~AFSS

Although it can be very wet and soggy for beans and kitties, the rain is very, very good all your plants. As you say, it's nature's watering can, and less work for you and your Dad. It will all pay off in the end, and things are already looking great, Jonesie.
