It's the weekend and that means mom has gone to the Farmers Market to buy lots of great stuff. She brought back some Swiss Chard and before she could get it out of the bag, we had to dig right in. I mean, it's been months since the Market closed last October. Did you think we'd be polite or something like that?
We did save some for mom and dad...really we did.

We never tried chard. It looks tasty. Maybe our mom should get some for us.

We love to eat grass, but we have never thought to try leafy greens. It looks like we're missing out!

OMC, you two are SO lucky! We would NEVER be allowed to eat the greens right out of the bag. In fact, we'd be lucky if my human offered us any at all. And I hear Swiss chard is full of chompy goodness.

We don't actually eat any greens ourselves but we're forever fans of a kitty called Uncle Irving who used to eat lots of green produce. We think he has a book out!
