Hi there! Last week was really hard. I mean, most of the attention around here went to Jonesie. Jonesie this and Jonesie that. What about me? Aren't I helpful in the garden? Aren't I as beautiful and special and ....oh...I feel a hairball coming on....
I thought I'd pose by the oregano...I'm a spicy girl you know. A spice girl actually. Gingerspice!
Mom and dad brought home some cool garden art. Jonesie will take credit for placing it, but I look good exposing my belly next to it. This one has a butterfly and a dragonfly on it.
So...it's Tuesday so I might as well dish it. See, Jonesie DID get all the attention this past week because she was sick. Mom fussed and dad fussed and you'd think all they cared about was Jonesie...not the rest of us. It's enough to make me file a complaint with the ASPCA. I was just about to do just that, when I found out that little Miss Purrfect had an "incident". See, she was being stubborn about using her private litter box. She went 48 hours without touching it, which freaked out everyone. I dream of having a private box, but Jonesie was having none of it. She was hauled back off the to v-e-t for a recheck and on the way back home her very full bladder couldn't take the bumps in the road and about a couple of blocks from the house she let fly in her carrier. All over her fleece...all over her and all over the instructions from the v-e-t on what we need to do for her.
It was great!
Jonesie was horrified and all that did was make mom and dad fuss even more over her. I can't win.
Dear Grete -
How do woo do it?!?
Oh dear. I hope she starts feeling better so that you can get the attention you deserve!
Ginger has a floofy belly, Ginger is a drama queen, Ginger is a gossip, Ginger is a sweetie! I hope Jonesie feels better soon so you can get some of that limelight. Bonkies for you all from us.
We know you're the real power behind the garden my dear.
Only one way, Ginger, act up and direct the attention back to you.
Well, you have done a great job filling in for Jonesie int he garden. We are sorry Jonesie has not b een feeling well, though. Hope all is nicely back to normal all round now.
Ginger, although I'm a spicy girl too and love to get all of the attention I can't help but to feel terribly sorry for Jonesie. That was very unpleasant for everyone involved. Please try to be nice and give her a noselick from Siena and me.
Oh, Ginger, how you DO go on! Now you know if it were you who were sick your Mommy and Daddy would make a fuss over you, too... Oh, who are we kidding? We think you should call the ASPCA right away!
PS. Hi, Cory! xo♥
Yoo mustn't be mean to Jonesie ~ cos accidents happen suntimes. And it's norty to be gleeful. Jonesie is my bestest friend and I wet myself once too. It happens, get over it.
Alfie Marshall (cross cos yoo dissed Jonesie).
Oh Dear. It sounds like Jonesie had a time of it. We hope that everything now goes back to normal and that your cute belly is given all the attention it deserves, Ginger.
OMC! Jonesie peed her pants? Ha ha ha. . . but really, I'm sure she's embarrassed, poor girl. We're sending more purrs for her to get better. And we're sending you some purrs too Ginger. . . just because we like you!
You look like a great gardener.
Because of the lazy humans we didn't know about Jonesie until now. We'll look into that right away.
Careful, Ginger. Jonesie might pee on you next:P
We hope she is feeling much better.
I can see why they would fuss, but I agree, you are gorgeous!
Aw, poor Jonesie! That is a little embarrassing, y'know, and a mess too!! Ginger, we know you want the attention, but that kind of attention you don't really want...cuz you don't want to be sick and hafta go to the vet.
We hope Jonesie is feeling better...
We think that you'll be back to getting a lot of attention when Jonesie is feeling better, so we'll send lots of purrs so Jonesie is feeling great and that you get your attention, Ginger Spice :)
Sounds mighty stressful over there! Big purrs for Jonesie, poor dear. Hope she is on the mend soon! Ginger, your turn for attention will come. Have to have some patience!

Well Ginger, you do have a wonderful way of belly poses in the garden. Perhaps when Jonsie feels better she'll let you apprentice her?
Oh dear Ginger that is a pawsome problem. Well ... maybe now that Jonesie is all well and everything things will go back to the way they were.
We hope Jonesie feels better and that you get some more attention...and we love the new art in the garden.
So Jonesie needs all that to get some attention? Just shows how fabulous you are.
We think you should get lots of attention now. Your floofy belly looks lovely next to the garden art.
So sorry, Ginger. Unfortunately, when the kitties are sick, they do tend to get a little more attention.
awww hope Jonesie feels better.
Ginger you are adorable in the garden! xoxo
Uh oh, that sounds very embarrassing! I hope she has started using the litter again.
Well Ginger at least you didn't have to go to the vet! And you do look lovely posing by the new art!
