Mother Daughter Monday

Cory:  What do you want to do today momma?

Ellie:  You know, I'm tired of Jonesie getting all the credit for the garden.  We help too!  What would mom and dad do without us to inspect the seeds and stuff?

Cory: The baby onions sure smell interesting.  The seeds are cool too!

They are fun to whap!

Ellie:  Oh dear Cory, they are not toys.  We're supposed to be helpful if we're going to share any credit with Jonesie.

Cory:  Huh?

That's so cute :). I like onions, but I can't deal with the smell when I chop them. They make me cry :). you two are just adorable :).

Whapping is ALWAYS helpful. 'Cos if an onion or seed can't wivstand whapping, it's deefektive, and won't survive in the grownd! So well done ~ we don't think Jonesie will mind.

You can not whap them? What good are they then?

PS. Hi, Cory! xo

Yay to the new growing season! It's mandatory to play and have fun while gardening, so you two are doing fine.

Snoopervising the seeds is an impawtent part of gardening. We're not sure about whapping though.

We give you both an A for effort. But. . . maybe you have other talents besides gardening.

Easily distracted, Cory? Ah well... why not be a mama's girl as long as yo have the opportunity?!

Our mom says you two can come over anytime and help her garden!!

We are sure you would both be a great help in the garden. If you find something whappable, then obviously it should be whapped.

I think you are being very helpful, onions must pass the whap test!

Haha! We agree with Chey and Gemini...whapping those onions is helping them! Makes them grow better, doesn't it??

I think whapping the seeds around is a little bit helpful!

Whapping makes them grow bigger!

That first picture of you two is the cutest thing ever!

Me and Mom want to go plant the garden too, but we can't! Too much snow! I hate snow! I want to live somewhere where's there's no more snow!

I like to help dig in the garden and snoopervise to make sure that Mom get's everything in the ground just right so that it grows good. I think that you both are doing a good job getting things ready for Jonesie to plant.

I think you are both being very helpful! It's called quality control. If they can survive the whapping, they are good enough to plant!

Absolutely you both are being helpful! I'd say you are as helpful as Jonesie!

Looks like fun :-D We're going to ask the Humans if they have any baby onions we can whap... ehh...help them sort.

We think maybe the reason Cory has that baby onion in her mouth is so that she can go help plant it. Yeah, that's right. Sure!

If you can't whap them their no

Those two look more like co-conspirators, than mother and daughter! I guess the onion didn't fall far from the bulb (or whatefur!).

I always thought onions smelled raunchy to kitties, but both Ellie and Cory seem quite intrigued by them. Anything is a potential kitty toy it seems.
