Happy Birthday Cory!

Hi there!   Did you know it's my Birthday today?  No April Fools!

Well...mom says that it's a best guess of when my real birthday was.   I was such a weensy kitten when my human mom met us.  I didn't know one day from another back then.

Of course my birthday would not be possible without my Momma Ellie.  The best mother in the whole wide world!

Since she decided to roll, I'm gonna do it too.

Because I can.

My mom of course has to post a picture of me climbing Mount Foot.  This was the first day I came home with my humans.  I still adore all things socks.  Nothing much has changed.

Do you know I'm now 9 years old!  I still feel like a kitten.

I'm purring that you stopped by to say meow and hello today.

Mitten and Momma Monday- Our Gotcha Day!

Momma...did you know that it was our Gotcha Day on Sunday?

Yes, dear Cory, I would never forget.  Mom and dad didn't forget either.   They fussed and told us how they can't believe it's been 7 years since we came into their lives.   They said we made everything better.  Just by being us.

Of course mom pulled out our Gotcha Day pictures.  I remember being so comfortable when we arrived that we just settled into the couch for a nice nursing session.  Silly Cory, you nursed until you were 5 months old.

I can't believe I was that tiny.  You know if I could get away with it, I'd still nurse.

purrrrrr

Mother and daughter.  Together forever.

Cory's 6th Birthday!!

Welcome to my 6th Birthday celebration!

Mom said this party should come with a warning label...sorry that mom is going to make you look at kitten pictures of me.  Consider yourself warned!

Here is my momma Ellie with a couple of my siblings.

Here I am on Day One in my new home.  I was climbing Mt. Foot!  I knew right away this would be the place for me.
Kittens need lots of naps and I made sure I got my share.

Mom still has this fleece top and I still love it.
I can't quite fit into this basket anymore, but I try...

This is mom's favorite photo of little me.

Ok, now that you sat through the photos, grab some nip leaves, dig into some tuna and let's party!  Feel free to stay awhile and trash the place.  The party can continue for a whole week since we are going to take a 1 week blogcation.

We've never taken a blogcation in all the years I've had my little bloggie so we'll see how this goes.   It will probably take a week for us to get over our nip hangovers!

Kitten Cuteness

In honor of Kitty Fight Club 2010, I thought I'd flashback to my entry from last year.  Mom still gets woozy when she looks at this picture of me...I was that cute.

The competition is even tougher this year.  My advice to all the kittens is to keep your claws in, no tossing hairballs at each other and have a good time.

So go visit and vote!

We are going to try and visit furriends as we can, but we are spending extra time taking care of Jonesie.

New Years Baby!

Happy New Year!  In honor of the new year and my buddy Fin's birthday, I'm showing you my baby photos. Is the internet prepared for a megadose of cuteness?  Will it collapse under the sweetness of it all?  When it comes to being adorable, I can dish it...but can you take it?

Tuesday Tales

This has been a week of my mom being totally insufferable...dragging out ALL of my kitten pictures for the world to see. How would you feel if your mother did that to you? I know she's only trying to help, but sheesh... I may be trailing in the polls of cuteness, but as long as I'm still in it, I'll keep trying.

This is one picture I don't mind sharing. It shows my early aptitude for blogging. I've always been fascinated with computer keyboards and never miss an opportunity to sleep on them or paw at them. I even learned how to open notepad on my own and type secret messages. I'm about 3 months old here.I think my dad was trying to be tricky by putting a pad of paper over the keyboard so I couldn't cause too much trouble. Did he think I'd try to order from the online pet store when his back was turned? Grete came home from her spay surgery. She is not feeling so great and she does not want to leave her crate. We are purring she feels better real soon.
