Society of Feline Gardeners-Thursday in the House with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

So my furriends, I'm sure by now you've heard from Ginger.  We are in serious lockdown.  My garden sanctuary was invaded by the worst of introoders.  A coyote.

We had a disturbed Jack Russell Terror in the yard...and once we even had a vishus cute deer.
What's a garden cat to do?

I've been spending my time looking out the glass door.  Looking out windows.

Relying on my best woofie pal and sister Grete to do the snoopervising for me.

Grete takes her job seriously.  She is not pleased that I can't come and play with her in the yard.   Mom and dad are trying to figure out what to do so I can still enjoy my favorite place in the whole world.

Dad took out an old and diseased apple tree.  He is replacing it with a Honey Crisp apple tree that I approved of.  It breaks my heart that dad had to handle this alone without me there by his side.

Grete promises to keep her nose to the ground to make sure no more evil introoders trespass into MY garden.

Stay safe my furriends.

Oh my...how did the coyotes manage to get into your garden when you have all those fences up? Thank goodness your Daddy saw them before it saw all of you. We're glad you are all safe indoors.

The garden is not the same without you!

That looks like a fun yard, but I'll always prefer my inside-only status. I'm really spoiled!

Tragic turn of events, Jonesie. I hope you get out in your garden soon.

It is just TERRUBUL that a coyote came in YOUR garden!!!

Fuzzy Tales said...

It wouldn't be the same at all, but maybe your parents could build an enclosed outdoor catio. Or think about a different type of fencing? How high can a coyote jump?

Very scary, though. We know coyotes have coyote families to feed...but we don't want them to feed on you!!!

We are sure Grete is doing a terrific job but we wishes you could go out and help. We hopes the humans can come up with a solution to the coyote problem soon. Maybe you need a Roadrunner, he seemed to be pretty good at getting rid of the Coyote.

Hopefully Grete can put her scent down in the garden and scare the coyote away. Poor Jonesie, it must be frustrating to stay inside but we want you to be safe!!!!

Oh my a coyote in your back yard?! That is kind of scary. Apples are very good. The Woman is hoping to get a couple of the columnar apples in pots for the front near the entry way. I hope so. I would love to check out the new fruit.

Did the coyote go over or under the fence? We are so sad you can't get out in the garden to snoopervise. That is terrible!

Aw, we's sorreez you can't go outside! Jonesie, I just now realized that YOU must be THE Jonesie!! Wow!

Still, better inside the house than inside the coyote's tummy!!

Oh Jonesie! We certainly hope you get to go back outside soon. We will purr for a fitting solution for that to be so.

Maybe you will have to have a big catio made, complete with suspended walkways.

That's terrible. I can't ever go out because of my virii, but I sympathize. Mom thinks she found coyote tracks in our yard recently, too. I hope you find a way to keep the coyotes away so you can go out again.
