Thursday In The Garden with Jonesie

::purrr::

You know it's been awhile since we've changed the super secret password.   We should probably change it up.  I want to be sensitive to our woofie pals and saying "purrr" is kinda hard for them.   Grete and I had a heart to heart chat.

The new password is not a word at all...it's ::3 paw taps::

All garden cats and woofies can do it.

This past weekend was amazing with sunbeams to enjoy.  The grass is starting to grow and it's tasting great!

Grete got lots of ball play time. That makes her very happy.

We were joined in the garden by our fair weather friends...the shadows.  The big one is a bit odd with a tiny little head and a big ol' shadow body.   Grete and I were not afraid even though they haven't been around in awhile.

I checked out the weeds in the garden beds.

Then I settled into the best place in the yard to sit, my daddy's lap!

I'm a bit worried because the weatherperson (who is mostly wrong) is predicting snow and cold temperatures headed our way by Thursday.  The plants who are waking up are in for a not so nice surprise, so please purr that they survive.

The winter daphne just started to bloom.

The andromeda bush is waking up.

I hope they will be alright.

Please leave a link so everyone can visit!

Thins are looking nice and Springy, there, so I do hope the flowers are ok if it snows.

It certainly looks like spring has come early to your garden, Jonesie! I hope that the upcoming storm doesn't smack the new growth too hard.

Hi Jonesie,

I fink it's an excellent idea to have a muti-lingual password! That way efurrybuddy can join in.

Your garden looks lovely and sunny and those buds and blooms look fantastic. I hope the snow doesn't come and spoil them all. PURRS.

I think yoor weather is more Spring like than our is at the moment. We have had tons of grey days and gloom ~ even though some days have mild temperatures. But we keep reminding ourselves that it is nearly March ... so soon there will be bloo sky and sunbeams. I can't wait.

love from yoor bestest friend, Alfie xx

I didn't know there was a password. Just as well I have been able to get in everytime. i must have followed right behind another furry who knew the ropes. That's the way SS often uses to get into the research centre because she is always forgetting the code.

The flowers are pretty. Hope the weather person is wrong about the cold. As we hope the ones here are wrong about the return of the heat this weekend.

Your grass looks so fresh and delicious! It's not the case at our house, unfortunately.

Oooo - I see green grass in your yard. I wish I could get out there and walk on it too. We still has dat white stuff in our yard.

Jonesie, that green grass looks *wonderful*. So do those blooms. We're pretty sure they must be hardy enough to survive, even if your temps dip a bit.

Our forecast is for up to 20 cms (about 8 inches) of snow tomorrow! :-O

The winter daphne and andromeda are very pretty we are purring they survive.

We have some plants waking up too.

Good to see all our friends here. Daddy is upgrading our computer so we may be unable to visit or post for awhile.

Grete, Fenris wants to play ball with you while us cats explore the garden.

Your garden looks great already and I have my fingers crossed that the sprouting plants and new flowers will be okay if more cold weather comes.

That is very nice of you to make the password more species friendly.

We are a bit envious of you all out there! We can't wait for it to warm up more so Meowm will take us out in the tent!
