Thursday In The Garden With Jonesie

Meow!  Welcome back to my garden!  It's been an interesting week of weather.  We've had sunshine and warmth, then we had rain and chilly!  I'm not ready for fall, so if it could stay away for a few more weeks that would be fine with me.

I helped mom and dad harvest the corn!  We made a huge pile of corn bits because mom didn't want to eat that part.  We put all the good stuff to eat in the bags.  It's hard work snoopervising this because it took 2 of them to do it which means twice as much work for me.

I think Cory and Ellie will be happy with this!

Oh look!!!!  It's Ellie out for a snoopervised visit in the garden. Mom trusts Ellie with me...as long as mom is 2 feet away at all times.

There's nothing quite like Ellie's tail in the sunbeams.

We had a visitor in the yard too!  Mom and dad were amazed because they think this boy could be my long lost brother, minus the floof.  We worried that he might be a stray because, well, you know...but when we offered him food he was just polite about it.  He ate a little bit and then left.  I suppose that's ok...more for us!!!  We couldn't let him go hungry if he was in need.  He hasn't returned since.
So before I go, I though I'd leave you all with my entry into the Monty Q Full Monty Contest!!!  Visit and vote and tell them Jonesie sent you!

Mommy is going nuts about your corn! Settle down and type, Mommy.

Ellie's tail is the BEST tail we've ever seen, bar none. That thing needs it's own ZIP code! We enjoyed seeing it in it's full glory in the sunlight.

Your visitor looks pretty well fed...if you know what we mean!

That corn looks yummy! The only corn I've ever had is from the trashcan, and that came from the store - I bet your fresh corn is about a billion times better!

I didn't know you have such curly belly furs, Jonesie. Very sweet and rub-a-licious! We're not ready for Fall either but is has been raining lots here and it's quite cold. I hope there are many more warm days to come to roll around in the grass.

Cool corns! We didn't grow any of that this year. After looking at Miss Ellie's tail we now have tail envy. . **sigh**

You have the best adventures in your garden, and a good roll in the grass is the best ending to a full day!

We were about to comment on Ellie's outrageously cool tail when we were distracted by that lovely belly of yours, Jonesie. You girls are so beautiful.

Love your full Monty Jonesie.

The corn is pawsome. Our Mom is drooling over it. We have been composting our corn husk. Alas we has to buy the corn at the store cause ours didn't do good.

How nice for Ellie to have a soopervised visit outside. That visitor, does look like he could be your brother-with-less-floof.

Corn looks delicious! MY Dad adores corn. I will send him over.

Oh that corn looks so yummy - corn is our mom's favorite - sometimes she will just sit down and have some as a snack (and not the popped kind!)

And it was sweet of you to give that kitty some food to make sure he wouldn't be hungry - and now he knows that if he is hungry you will help him out!!

We love your entry in the Monty Q contest - it is so cute and floofy!

Oh, and we did our first garden post today - it is an indoor garden, so we didn't take the official Society of Garden Cats seal yet - we were hoping you could take a look and tell us if our garden is acceptable to be members!

The corn looks wonderful. We are sure the humans could not have done such a good job picking and husking without your snoopervision - well done. And Ellie's tail is amazing - as short-haired cats, we are very impressed!

P.S. Awesome Monty Q entry!

Jonsie, in tip top form tonight!! Excellent gardening (we know the secret to growing all of those wonderful things - your green paw!! Your Mom & Dad are just your helpers, right??)

Have a great day!!

Your corn harvest and Ellie's tail are most impressive.

Your visitor looks pretty well-fed and looked after. He probably just came for company.

Thanks for coming to my party. There is more cheese, Cory, come and we can make piggies of ourselves.
