No UPS trucks or Fed Trucks or even garbage trucks have been able to come up my street for days and days because of the snow and ice. Now that it's starting to melt off a bit...the door bell rang. Grete barked. Mom opened the door and found this addressed to me!
Look! It's the Dewey book I won! Thank you Kimo & Sabi...and of course the blurpy girl whose fingers were sticky on the piece of paper with my name on it!
Ellie: What's this Cory?Bennette: What you got there?
Cory: It's my book! Maybe we can all gather around and mom and dad will read it to us. I promise not to chew the pages!

Having a bit of a rest and a good book seems about all you guys can do with that crappy weather! I thought we had it bad!!
You'll have to tell us how you liked the book! The PM is going to ask for it for her birthday. We think it would be a pretty interesting and heartwarming read! She told the wee ones about it and now they want a cat to live in our library!

I am glad they finally got through. Not many trucks were getting up here either... but I think they should today. Momma is hoping so because they have been waiting all weekend for the second season disc one of Heroes...
