Oh my goodness!  When our new couch was delivered we could hardly believe our good fortune.  It even matches Ellie's Hairy Blankie!

We immediately took it over and traded turns giving each other tongue baths.

We don't think we will ever leave it.    You did get it for us, right? 

Mitten Monday

I'm all excited because our new couch was delivered this weekend.  What's more exciting to me is that we got a cool shag area rug for the living room.  It has good paw feel.  I think Santa will like it too and maybe that will make him stay a bit longer when he visits us Friday night.  I got a bit sleepy while I was checking it out and I took a little nap.

Grete came by to keep me company.  She made sure she did not sit on me.

After all the fuss that Ginger made about the couch, she has not voluntarily spent one nanosecond on it!  Tomorrow you will see who has fallen in love with it.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

I'm a bit worried.  All this being good stuff is getting to me.  I'm really still a kitten.  I may look like a big 13 pound mancat, but I'm still a kitten.  Just a wee bit over 1 year old.  It's my first Christmas with my family.  I've got my first stocking.  My first tree.  My first Secret Santa Paws.

I'm going a bit nuts.  I'm tearing through the house.  I'm whapping the tree.  Whapping the ornaments.  And then it happened.  I destroyed my first ornament.  I'm thinking this one is really bad because it was a little angel ornament.  It had feather wings.  How fair is that?  Feathers are toys!

We have a bell on our tree to tell us when an angel gets their wings.  But what happens when a naughty kitty makes an angel lose their wings?

Is it a lump of coal in the naughty kitties stocking?

I'm worried.

At least my good pals from The Poupounette turned out to be our Secret Paws pals so they may be my only hope of getting presents this year.  I'm going to sit by the bag until Christmas morning.  It came all the way from Japan!  I can hardly wait!
