We sometimes worry that little Cory will get jealous, but she's ok with us being close.

Easy Monday

Mom has a 3-day weekend so we are planning on hanging out and snoozing on Monday.  What a great way to spend the day!

***mom got an owie on her thumb and is having trouble being our typist.  We will be lurking for a few days while she heals up***

Tuxie Tuesday

Oh my goodness!  When our new couch was delivered we could hardly believe our good fortune.  It even matches Ellie's Hairy Blankie!

We immediately took it over and traded turns giving each other tongue baths.

We don't think we will ever leave it.    You did get it for us, right?

Don't wake us up until Monday.

Momma Meezer Monday

I love to mother everyone in the house.  Cory is ok with it.  She gets a little jealous every once in awhile, but mostly she understands my need to take care of everyone, including her.   Bennette and I share a special relationship.  Even though my mom thinks Bennette is older than me, Bennette likes to pretend she's my baby.  I wash her and cuddle her and we hold paws.  It makes me happy.

Momma Meezer Monday

It's always a dilemma. Bathe or whap? We always start out with good intentions. Everyone in the family wants me to bathe them. One thing leads to another...maybe I wash a little too much, get too involved.

Next thing you know, paws are flying and mouths are chomping!

Then a moment later all settles down and we get sleepy.

I never can figure out why we do it this way, but it's always the same thing no matter what or who I am bathing.

It's just the way it is.

Momma Meezer Monday

I'm the momma around here. Not only do I take good care of my baby girl Cory, I also look after everyone else. Bennette especially loves her "momma" time with me. I wash her as if she is my own.

Bennette's gotcha day is coming up on Thursday. It's also Ginger's birthday and my mom's birthday AND the anniversary of Grete's first elbow surgery. We have a lot to celebrate this week.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

We may fight over rights to the bean bag chair and fight over who gets to play with the nip banana, but when all is said and done, we curl up together and nap after a nice bath. That is what we have planned for today.
