Tuxie Tuesday

Hi there!  Remember me?  I'm the cat formerly known as "Freeta Bandeeta".  You see...I kept a big secret from everyone (except Jonesie).  Under all my floof, I hid the evidence that I am a boy.  While the lady here was gone last week, the big man felt sorry for me...said I looked a bit ill.  He hauled my kitty rear to the placed called the v-e-t.  While there the secret was revealed.  Not only am I a boy, I was in need of a snip.   Well, I was snipped and I was also tested for all the kitty diseases.  I'm negative for all the big stuff, but I have an intestinal parasite.  I'm on pills now until I get better.  I already feel lots better!  The v-e-t thinks I'm about 1-2 years old.
I like it here, except I can't go in the yard and help Jonesie.  I'm meeting other kitties and the great big woofie under the door.  I've kind of met the woofie before, but she barked at me.  I just ignored her.  Now she isn't barking, she's just VERY interested.  I can understand why.  I AM very interesting!
The man and woman here have been asking around the neighborhood, but so far no one knows if I belong to someone or not.  I've been eating at the next door neighbors house for months.  They've been worried about me too.   So for now, I'm recovering and I'm "on hold" until the people here figure out what to do. I'd really like to call them "mom and dad".  A cat can dream, right?  Jonesie needs me, right?

Thursday In The Garden With Jonesie

Meow!  Welcome back to my garden!  This time of year is just so much fun with all the different plants and seeds going in the ground.  I have to work from sun up to sun down to keep it all under control.  The weather has been good some days and awful others.  We had so much rain dump down on us last week that I accidentally got my furs all soaked!  It happened so fast I couldn't get away from it and the place I usually go to stay dry had water overflowing on to the top of my furry sweet head.  I was so upset I admit I cried at the window so my mom would come get me.  She wrapped me up in a blankie and then she sang to me.  It took me awhile but I did start to purrr.

The good news is that the sun did come back out to play...and mom and dad did not have to spend any time watering the garden.  That's more time they can spend helping me.
My kale and radishes are growing up nice and strong.
My broccoli has baby broccoli growing in each of the plants!
My furriend and garden buddy Freeta Bandeeta came by for a visit to check out the newly planted basil.  Mom now has 9 plants growing, under my snoopervision of course.  In this picture I'm doing double duty as hostess and seed warmer.  There are carrot and parsnip seeds under my belly furs.
At the end of the day, Cecilia decided to help me by doing some general snoopervision.  I can't do it all, so it's wonderful of her to assist.

Please leave a link and let me know what's happening in your garden!

Sunday Squirrel Hunt

Hi there!  I'm squirrel hunting with our neighbor furriend cat Freeta Bandeeta (I'm sure we'll find out one day that her name is really Fluffy or something like that).  She's cool since she'll get right up in the dogwood tree with me.

You might have to biggify to see the evil squirrel way up high in the branches.  With us girls tag teaming him, he doesn't stand a chance.

Happy Sunday!
