Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

Breaking News my furriends!

Breaking news!

So before I tell you what just happened...moments before my post was supposed to up...you need to know that I was already safely in the house.

As my mom was helping put together my garden adventures...she heard a loud crack and a crash!

A huge chunk of my beloved willow tree came down in the yard.  Of course mom scrambled and yelled for me...even though she knew I had already come in for the night...but you know how moms are.  She had to see me to be sure.

Yes I got a kiss.

You can see how small my dad looks compared to the fallen piece of tree.

I am purring because it didn't hit anything...not our deck or our shop or any of us kitties or our neighbor cats.

It was starting to get dark so the photos are mom's best...but wow.

Stay safe  out there my furriends.  Gardens are usually very safe places to be...but sometimes it can be scary!

We are so sad for that beautiful tree but happy that you were all safe and so was the shop (and shop kitties) and Grete and all the humans.

Oh and even though it lives, it's still sad that it lost a branch.

I'm sorry for your poor willow tree, but thankful that it didn't hit anything.

Your poor willow tree! We hope that the rest of it is still healthy and stays there with you for years to come.

Wow indeed! We're so glad no one was hurt! Pretty sad to see that huge branch come down, though--such a beautiful tree!

That is so sad your favorite tree lost a huge limb. We're thankful it fell without hurting anyone or anything :)

We are so relieved that no humans or animals were hurt. Half of our 100+ year old oak tree came down a few years ago. It took the power out for blocks and blocks, squashed a car across the street and sent flames through the microwave. Happy International Cat Day. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo.
