Mitten Tuesday

So...after they weighed me and put the thermomiethingie in places that can only be discussed on HBO...

They let me back in my carrier.

I was not at all sure I wanted to come out again.   Of course, when you are at the evil vet place you have to do what they tell you to do.  And...I'm such a pushover, I even purred for the nice evil vet lady person.  Mom explained to me later that I needed a recheck on my pee issues.  They took another sample from me to confirm that I don't have anything physically wrong.

When the vet lady turned her back on me...I blew her a raspberry!  Don't tell her I did that, ok?

Mom said that Bennette still will need a check up, but I found out (don't tell Bennette or the others just yet) that my vet is starting to do house calls.  Mom is thrilled at the thought of not having to box up several of us at once.  One visit and they can see ALL of us!

But...that means the v-e-t will know where we live.

That can't be a good thing.

Oh... I never thought about the vet knowing my address! I wanted a home-visiting vet, but now I am having second thoughts!

You look so cute with your head coming up out of the PTU, Cory. We know it is importsnt for you to check your checkups and if the Vet came to your house, it would save a lot of stress on all of you. But is sure is a bit of a worry for her to know where you live! She might just stop by for fun to see all of you!

We're glad your VET visit went well. We think a home vet might be a bit easier. Our VET tech has been to our house so they already know where we live :(

How awesome your vet will do housecalls! You won't have to get in the PTU or ride in the car. Your raspberry was really cute ;)

We used to have a Bet that came to our house and we liked it much better than being boxed up for a car ride. Plus, we knew where to hide at our place!

It's a fine balance, isn;t it, between the positive side of not having to go in those carriers again and the negative of having the vet invade your own space...

The raspberry picture is priceless, Cory!

Meowm checked iwth her vet about coming out to see Emily. Well it was $140 green papers just to come out to us, so she vetoed it. All we can say is THANK COD!!!!! We don't want her knowing were we live either.

We will haveto try that raspberry stuff....maybe Emily will do it for us on Saturday!

Cory, you are soo cute--and the raspberry was perfect. Smokey (who looks just like you) always whacks Auntie Dr. Carrie's braid when he sees her.

Dr. Camuti, who was a cat vet in NYC many years ago, wrote a book called "All My Patients Are Under The Bed." A house-call vet is wonderful. I hope you thanked Grete for giving you moral support.
