Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

Hi there furriends!  I could hardly wait until Thursday came this week.  So much to show you.  This time of year, the garden doesn't always look it's best but it's full of promise for the coming spring.

See...the chives are starting to push their way past the old dead stuff and the moss.

Oh...the moss this year has been terrible!  It's everywhere...but I have to admit if feels so soft and amazing under my paws.

The garden beds still have to be cleaned out...but the baby nip that has sprouted up there is delish!   Truly one of the best things in this world.

Tender, juicy...baby nip.

Ginger helped me out a bit by flossing his teeth on the emerging ferns.

And then he pointed out that the parsley plants never did die out completely!  Mom can probably use some of it now if she's careful in letting us paw out the good parts.

Still so much to do...the grass is sweet and yummy.  It's a bit damp on my paws, but that's ok.  I still love it.

It's so pretty there. We have mud everywhere. Ugly, brown, mud. Thanks for the garden post and happy Thursday. xoxo

Your garden looks better that ours, Jonesie. Because of all the shade by trees and high houses our grass always dies completely and by this this of the year we are very tired of the bare soil look. But mom tried two times sowing in lawn and it just won't survive.

Spring is the time of year when my kitties like to nibble the new grass--before the lawn crew starts polluting it :(

Oh how excellent! I do love it as more and more stuff starts showing up for planting and growing. The humans have a nice plum tree out and ready to plant!
