The Stockings Were Hung by the Chimney with Care

I love Christmas.  I love sleeping under the tree.  I love sitting next to the tree.   If you biggify my picture you can see the tree lights reflected in my eyes.

Our stockings are all hung by the fireplace, waiting for Santa Paws to fill them all.   Mom sometimes has a hard time keeping them all straight...but Santa knows.  From left to right....Mom, Figaro, Ellie, Cory, Bennette, Ginger, Jonesie, Cecilia, Madison, ME Nigel, Grete and Dad.

All of our guardian angels have their stockings hung on a garland on a window opposite the fireplace.

::bows head in honor::

Morgan, Nimue, Callie, Gracie, Roger Ramjet, Maxfield, Jonathan, Michelangelo, Maggie, Lewis, Colby, Noelle and Benjamin.

Santa Paws does not fill these stockings because they are already full of memories.

What a cool holiday tradition. Only the humans in our house have stockings. I don't think that's fair!

That is a LOT of stockings, for both past and present angels.

We think it's very sweet of you to hang the angels' stockings, too. We bet it makes them happy.

That's a wonderful Christmas tradition. Hanging the stockings for the angels is a very special touch. It's wonderful that they can be there with you for the holidays.

We LOVE all your stockings! 'Specially the ones for those that came before. We have stockings hung on the fireplace too. But there's not one for the mom and dad. We wonder where Santa will put their presents??

We hope you get lots of lovely things in your stockings. We like the idea of hanging stockings in the memory of Those Who Came Before.

I love the sentiment of the guardian angel stockings.

And Cory, shouldn't you have a BIGger sock?

Maybe those stocking should be hung in alphabetical order, might help your Mom remember better.

What a lovely sentiment about the stockings. I was feeling so sad about Fin's and it didn't seem right for it to go to Quill. It is too full of memories.

We have our stockings up and ready for Santa. Mom hung Tamir and Sniffie's stockings in a special place too. We know those stockings are already filled...with love.
