Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

 ::Meowwww::

Well my furriends, we still have beautiful sunny weather in my garden but I know that fall is truly here.   There is a nip in the air (different than the nip in the ground) and the leaves are starting to fall.  On Wednesday we got lots of wind and that made even more leaves fall to the ground.  It's getting darker so early and that means I have to come inside WAY earlier.  No fun.

Instead of snoopervising gardening activities I'm ending up snoopervising my siblings.  Even though  there is not much to do in the garden right now except enjoy it, I must prepare everyone for what is coming.
We may not be able to use rakes, but we can lend moral support and meows to mom and dad once they start the annual leaf removal work.  We all must pawticipate.
 Figaro thinks looking handsome is helpful.  For leaf removal duty he may have a point.

 Here we are in a group meeting...planning our strategy of who will purr and meow and when they will do it.
A garden cat's work is never done.  Do you need help organizing your fall work projects?  I'll paw on over!

Supervising raking is a bit tedious, but a necessary task!

Not many leaves falling here yet. We won't need any snoopervising for a while.

Weel, we don't have Fall gardening or yard work, but Meowm could use a paw in house stuff. Do you help with that?

We stay away from the fallen leafs when TBT is dealing with them cuz he MOWS them into bitty little pieces an leafs them there on the lawn! But we have fun WHILE they are falling. We pretend they are flutterbys and jump at them when they get near the ground...

That was a nice picture of some of you outside together. Great place fer planning stuff!

Is playing in the leaves helpful? It can lower human blood pressure... Or not.

What a wonderful team you make. Don't forget that once the piles of leaves have been raked up it is your duty to gallop into them!

Thank you so much for your kind comments to us on the loss of our Oliver, we miss him so much.

OK, we are back in business with spring and a foster cat snoopervising the gardening chores.

Charlotte is an indoor kitty but spends most of her day looking out to the garden through the French windows.
