Mitten Monday

I have a confession to make.  I got in trouble last week.

One of my bestest pals and protectors in the whole wide world goofed up and stepped on my tail.  Well, maybe a few furs on my tail.

Anyway, my Grete woofie stepped on my tail and I got all crazy.  I went a bit nuts and started hissing and swatting at her.

And you know what that means.

Yup...the little girl gang goes into motion.

My Momma Ellie runs to my defense...paws swinging and four-letter meows flying.

And if Momma Ellie is in the mix...well, Bennette is just one step behind. She's feisty.  Paws swinging and meowing meows I've never heard before.

Grete was out numbered.

My mom and dad were right there and they started yelling at us.  Dad grabbed Grete to protect her and mom went right for me.  And within a second I found myself locked in a bathroom by myself.  I was HISSED OFF!

Then I could hear some other stuff going on and doors closing and the next thing you know my Momma Ellie, Bennette and I were all locked in a room together.  Like we were in jail or something.   And I could hear mom and dad fussing over Grete saying what a good girl she is (and I know she is...) but they said nothing about her stepping on my tail.   Sigh.

Mom told me that I needed to cool off...sheesh.   Once I was let out of the room after a year one hour Grete and I kissed and made up.    Grete loves me and I love her.  She promised me that she didn't mean to step on my tail and I believe her.

I love my Grete woofie.

Aww, you kittehz sound like us. We can hiss at Chi-Chi, but nobody else can! She's our sisfur. We're glad nobody was hurt at your house. xoxo

Wow! For one fraction of a second there, I almost felt sorry for a dog! 'Cause after all, Grete did not mean to step on your tail.

I am certain Grete did not mean to do that. She seems quite intelligent and knows that it would be Grete smackdown if she did...I am glad you are friends again.

Tails are tricky. They go their own way.

I got a paw stepped on by TBT yesserday. Quite a shock. So, OK, I was tryin ta cut a corner around him. But my paw got where his big fat foot was landing. I screeched and ran for the UNB spot.

He came in an apologized real good with pets and scritches fer 15 minutes.

It was ALMOST worth it.

Well Cory at least you've made up. Poor Grete though, we're sure she didn't mean it.

Wow, what a huge dust up! I wonder what Grete would do if you stepped on her tail furs...

Grete didn't mean to step on your tail. Sometimes I step on a tail around here, too. I'm quite sure it hurts worse than Grete stepping on your tail!

Wow, poor Grete must really feel like the odd girl out sometimes. I sympathize with her but am kind of proud of how Ellie and Bennett had your back.

Wow, that's quite something with Ellie and Bennette coming to your assistance, Cory. Glad things got resolved amicably.

It is easy to get worked up over tail floof. Lishy likes to sit in between our mum's feet when she does the dishes. She's having trouble seeing him over the belly now and accidentally stood on the tip of his tail floof and he went ballistic. We didn't run to his aid though. We're glad you were all able to make up quickly, sisters are the best ;)

You know, Cory, #1 fairly regularly steps on my tail... She says it;s my fault as I am generally totally underfoot, but what is a pussycat to do?

Anyway, I'm really glad you made up with Grete Woofie. She is too lovely to be cross at.

Cory we know Grete didn't mean to hurt you but sometimes accidents happen, we are very glad you made up!

Whew - I'm so glad you two kissed and made up. That could have been disasterous.

Oh, that is awful. Put in jail! But we know Grete would never hurt you on purpose. She's such a sweet girl.

Holy smokes! Poor Grete probably didn't know what hit her! Too bad I didn't have you girls to keep that young whippersnapper from getting my tail!

Woooooooo, that must have been quite the comotion. Maybe it is good to be the only one in the house. Nope, thinking safety in numbers. When something goes on if you are the only then you are the blame. Glad you all got out of jail. If you ever need to post bail give me a call. I'm here for you. Poor baby.

Whoa! That musta been crazy to see! We're glad you cooled off and made up with Grete. You know she didn't mean to do that.

Cory, Honey, she may be your sisfur but she's a ::whispers:: woofie. And you know what perfidious interlopers they are. Just sayin'. I mean, ask yourself: Why did *you* get locked up for her vicious attack on your tail???

Poor Grete, of course you didn't mean to step on Cory's tail - so glad you are friends again. Cory, it is awesome that you have such protective furriends to help you even if this time it was all a misunderstanding!

Poor Grete we know she didn't mean to step on your tail. Sometimes dogs can't help the fact that they aren't as graceful as us cats. Glad you two kissed and made up.
