Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie- Society of Feline Gardeners

 ::Meowwww::

I'm guarding our nip patch today.  I think later my whole family will be diving into the nip, trying to take away the pain of losing so many of our dear furriends in the Blogosphere.  Just recently Beau, then Sammy...and one of our bestest pals Fin...and earlier this year our dear furriend Lolo and Cory's love Whitey.   So many others too.

Tomorrow morning yet another furriend leaves us for The Bridge, our beloved furriend Parker.
We are all a bit down thinking about it.

My good pal and Society of Feline Gardeners member, Artemisia, has been missing since Monday night.  We are all purring for her safe return home.
I was sitting with the nip when I noticed 2 little ladybugs on the leaves.  This meant a lot to me since I've been hanging out with the nip for a couple of months and these are the very first ladybugs!  I took it as a sign that my furriends will be ok.
 Artemisia will come home safely...
But I still can't help shedding a tear.

It's been a rough few weeks in the Cat Blogosphere. We're so sad about all who have already left for the Bridge and so sad that Parker is leaving today. We're also worried about Artemisia. We sure hope this run of bad stuff ends soon.

It has truly been a sad time of late and things don't seem to be letting up just yet. A good reminder to all of us to live and love to the fullest each and every day.

We love seeing ladybugs too and there are so many in our garden and the surrounding fields this year.

And we are purring so very hard that Miss Mouse will come home safely.

Purrs,

Oh boy that nip looks good. We are so sad about all our friends who have gone to the rainbow bridge and we are so worried about our Arty Mouse. Now that the rain has stopped and the sun is up Mommy is fixing to go outside and look for her. We appreciate your mentioning her in your post. ~FSS

And we are praying that Artemisia comes home quickly and safely.

It's good that you have your wonderful garden to meditate in. It has been a sad time, lately.

Oh Jonesie it is a very unsettling time indeed. Casper is beside himself with worry that his ladycat Artemisia has not come home yet. We are hoping that your nip ladybugs are a good sign and everything will be okay!!!

We think taking some refuge in the garden is a good idea today. Commune with nature and send our best purrs to our dear friends who have recently departed or who are lost or sick.
It's been a tough few weeks around the CB.

My what a great bunch of kitties. Had to read all your stories on the side bar, along with the Angel kitties. Happy belated gotch a day Grete. I'm glad something good happened on May 21st. I would like to thank all of you for stopping by and giving your condolences for Casper. Looks like May has been pretty sad for the catblogosphere. Thank you again, it was very much appreciated
