Good to see everyone this week. This time of year in the garden can be hard on a gardencat. There is so much work to do! I advise all my furriends to sharpen their claws well before starting on a days work.
I can see that my dad has been slacking. This was one of many little baby trees that were growing in my nice grass. I took my paw and pointed it out and dad got to work ripping them out. Under my snoopervision of course.
Then I made sure that BOTH mom and dad got busy pulling weeds out of the vegetable garden. It was more like a weed garden before I whapped them back to work. I can purr easily now knowing that the vegetables have a fighting chance.
The flowers are lovely. See how the white of the phlox looks fabulous with the purple of the butterfly bush? I like how both colors look great with grey furs.
Even the pears are starting to look like they are ready to eat. We will have to be patient because they are still hard. I have to watch out for fruit that falls from the trees since I don't want to get bonked on the noggin.
I'm purring that our sunny weather stays for awhile. We waited so long for a bit of warmth and sunshine this summer that I''m going to appreciate every minute of it! For all the kitties who are dealing with storms and stuff, please teleport over to my garden. It's purrfect!

Looking very good!
You have PEARS?! My human is envious - she loves pears!
But that is only because she has never munched on a butterfly. They are far tastier, and have way more protein.
It does look lovely over at your garden. We would luf to come hang out someplace nice this weekend. Do you haf any nip in your garden?
Your garden is lovely. Be careful of them pears, though!
I love your garden , the flowers looks lovely, and the pear. It's a good device for catching da birdy ! But Watch out for your human !
Those pears look heavy ~ maybe the garden shud be declared a hard-hat area? MOL!
Yoo are doing a great job snoopervising the beans ~ they need to be kept in paw.
Love Alfie xx
(I'm gonna be 3 next Thursday!!!!)
Everything still looks so great and you sure are doing lots of work!
You've had a very busy week in your garden, Jonesie! We're not doing much...We've had a lot of torrential rain lately, and last night was the wildest lightning and thunder we've had in a very long time. So we'd love to teleport over for some sunshine!
ooo - pears - that one sure does look yummy. A gardner's work never seems to be done, and you are doing a good job.
Wow! You got pears! Those would be fun to whap!!
Jonesie your garden is looking great!!! I really like your dark purple butterfly bush, we have a pink one :-)
You have SO MUCH Snoopervising to do before the gerden goes to sleep in November! But you are doing such good werk that we know you will handle this.
The foods that you grow in your garden are very impressive. They always look so healthy and happy. We have a confession. We have a man who comes and mows our lawns for us because mum and dad are SO LAZY, but he is on holiday at the moment. And we have had a sudden weed explosion where the grass is supposed to be! It looks like a little forest for the Smurfs to live in.
Jonsie, you garden is looking better than ours at the moment. It has been so hot, everything is just wilted and scorched. We hope with the weather cooling off a touch, the garden will improve again. Mom could use some supervising, but she won't let us out to help her!

Mmm, we used to have pears in our garden in Canada, but now we have raspberries and strawberries! (It was for the best anyway. The waspies kept visiting whenever the pears fell off the tree!)
The combination of the purple buddleia with the white phlox is stunning! Hope you're getting lots of butterflies!
that looks an idyll. We loved the cart/wheel barrow thingy. here is to hoping we have an Indian summer! Love Darcy, Bingley and Helen xxx
Hi Jonesie,
Our vegetables did not do so good here because of the rotton weather at the beginning of summer. Then its got hot - hot - hot!
And we has a marvelous crop of weeds - me must get after Mommy and Daddy...
Your garden is beauteous as always!
Kisses
Nellie
We are teleporting over right away. We mostly have weed beds as our Mom has been a real slacker lately.
We love pears.
It's been rather warm here, we will teleport over and visit your lovely garden! See you soon Jonesie!
Jonesie, we love your yard, but we can tell how much work it is. Your humans are so lucky to have a good gardening cat at hand to get them organised. Those pears look great!

Your garden is looking good. What a blessing that you have hard working parents (unlike mine)!
You have pears???!!!!!!! Oh my!!!!
Jonesie, your garden looks great! Your mom and dad are very lucky to have such a great snoopervisor to keep it in such great shape.
I had mum work out in my garden today too! It needed it badly.
Such purity flowers... and with juicy fruits too!
