::3 paw taps::
My furriends, I gotta tell you that we didn't get much gardening done this weekend. The weather is still dreary so mom and dad will not help me plant vegetables until Memorial Day weekend. We had a few sunbeams...and idle paws were left to figure it out for themselves.
I knew there was trouble when I saw Ginger's face.
She had mischief on her mind.
Cue up "Dueling Banjos" music....
She flopped down and challenged me to a belly duel!
She reminded me that the OK Cats were hosting a tummy contest and we missed the boat. No reason we couldn't just duke this out among ourselves, right in our own backyard!
Right back at ya!
No one can resist my paw overhead move!
What about my demure twister?
A paw lick mid-belly exposure is a sure winner...
Tongues and bellies are a great combo!
Forget the face...just belly!
Just hanging out...me and my belly!
I can reach out and touch my pals while they admire my belly.
I got more moves than you!
Pfffttt! No matter what, daddy loves me!
Hope you've been having some fun in your garden this week. If you haven't yet voted at the OK Cats belly contest, please do that. Meanwhile, you can vote for either me or Ginger, right here on the blog. We'll leave the poll open until midnight EST Thursday May 12th.
We are gonna declare it a draw! There is NO WAY we can choose.
Duelling bellehs... now there's a way to spend a weekend!
That is so so beautiful. Its a draw. And I read your star cast, and your list of guardian angels and wept. Jazz and Jewel would love to come over and play some time. Jewel says that garden fertilizer is crack cocaine for cats and follows me round, digging up plants so she can snort it.
You two! Let's just call it a draw.

Jonesie, it's good to see yoo having fun in the garden ~ 'cos efurry good gardener knows that gardening should NOT become a chore. Gardeners should ALWAYS have fun in their gardens too.
PS: I fink Jonesie won ('cos Jonesie is my bestest friend)

Oh noes - you can't expect for us to vote sister against sister!! You both have fantastic bellies, and we're in awe at all of the moves you have to show them off!!!
I'm glad your gardening post came back, Jonesie... even if there wasn't much gardening in it this week! ;-)
That was a fabulous belly duel. Not sure who to choose as the winner, though I think perhaps the winner in my books is Jonesie!
