Memorial Monday- Cloe

Our friend's kitty Cloe left for the bridge early Friday morning, December 5th. She was showing no signs of illness, just a happy little kitty hanging out just like any other day. She was seen in the wee hours of the morning in her favorite spot, at the foot of the bed. She got up, ate some breakfast. Then, in the blink of an eye, she collapsed and was gone. Just like that.

She loved snuggling at the foot of the bed and she loved letting her little toddler brother almost catch her. She was saved when she was younger by a rescue organization when she was abandoned with her sister Sammy in a field where there were coyotes who wanted to eat them for breakfast. She leaves behind her sisters in fur, Sammy and Mella and her mom and dad who will miss her always. She was 12 years old.

So because life is precious and can change in the blink of an eye, be sure to give your loved ones an extra hug and kiss today.

Cloe's mom does read my bloggie, so she is able to read your comments. It is a great comfort to her, so thank you!

That is so very sad. Cloe was such a beautiful girl. We are sending purrs and comforting vibes to Cloe's family.

Our Sylvester died in a similar way, so out of the blue and without any warning at all.

We are very sorry to hear about Cloe. We are sending many purrs of comfort to her family both human and furry. Mommy also promises to give me extra lovin tonight in honor of Cloe.

I hope her family is comforted by the fact she lived a long happy life with soft beds and good foods because of them and that she took all their love for her, and hers for them, over the Bridge with her.

If there is any bright side in such very very sad news, at least there was no prolonged illness or suffering.
