It's Jonesie's GotchaBirthday!

Hi there!  Welcome to my GotchaBirthday celebration!  The first wonderful thing that happened to me is that I got a card from my furriend and gardening pal MoMo!  I was touched that she would remember my big day.  I'm thankful for my wonderful home and never forget what my life was like before I was gotcha'd.

Then...when I didn't even expect it...there she was with me!  MoMo teleported all the way from Australia to come celebrate.  I was so happy to show her my daffodils.

But, what I didn't know is that more kitties were arriving for the party.  A surprise party for me!  Alfie pulled one over on me.  He arrived in his garden attire, ready to do some gardening with me.  Then out came the cake and balloons and all the digging in the garden stopped and the party began!

Siena and Chilli came all the way from Germany and Finny teleported up from Nevada.  Even Awesome Eric came with Alfie.  I heard that Milo will be showing up later.

Thank you all for coming to celebrate with me.  Let's have some niptinis!!!  This is the bestest birthday ever!  So many kitties and woofies have come by...hopefully more are on their way.  There is lots of home grown nip, cake and niptinis.  Plus lots of shrimp, chick-hen, cheese...everything you can think of.  Plenty for everyone...and if we run out, mom will go get pizzas!   After we eat, we are going to play play play!

Sunday Stories

Finally...blog time!  I'm still restricted to leash walking, but hopefully this week I'll get released to romping and chasing my ball again. I can hardly wait.

An exciting thing happend on Friday.  When mom was downtown...without her camera of course...she saw a very special woofie walking down the street with his momma.  It was Bogart!   I was so excited when mom got home and I could smell him.   I heard that he gave mom a little kiss...so I thought since mom didn't have her camera with her, we'd demonstrate for you...

I couldn't let him be the last woofie to kiss my mom.

Glamour Puss Saturday

Some of you may remember over a year ago when I was elected Secretary of Socks of the CB.  The inaugural ball was the event of the season and it gave me a chance to show my girly side.  When I'm not chasing bugs, or dragging dirty socks around the house, or whapping small fruits and vegetables or singing arias or eating cheese, or looking at Whitey's blog...sometimes I just like to sit and be pretty.

Pee Ess...check back on Sunday when Grete discovers that mom has been hanging out with another woofie...a rather famous one.

Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

Meow!  This was a crazy week in the garden.  First we had glorious spring-like weather.  The birdies were chirping and the daffodils were daffing!

I just love seeing the daffodils again.

Dad went a bit crazy cutting down the bamboo patch so he could make plant stakes.  I think he's got enough to last a lifetime, plus supply all our neighbors with all they need too.  They are too big for me to play with them. 

The really big news is that my birthday is coming up on Monday March 15th!  That's less than a week away.  I will be 10 years old.  Actually, it's my gotcha day.  I arrived 8 years ago in the middle of March.  Mom and dad guessed I was 2 years old at the time, so therefore, it is my gotchabirthday!   I don't know what mom has planned for me.  I'm hoping that a friend or 2 can teleport over to visit me in the garden.   If you are willing to come over, maybe we can share nip or something like that?  No matter what, mom is getting me ready by furminating me.  I'm not a huge fan of the furminator, but I humor my mom and let her get a bit of my floof for herself.

Now all I have to do is wait for the big day!
