It's been an interesting week. I've done my best to spend quality time with my mom. The good fuzzy fleece she wears is starting to make an appearance so lap sitting has become more wonderful. Fall is in the air. The big news around here is what we did for mom's birthday. She totally didn't want any stuff. So we got her what she's been wanting for forever (
ok, not forever but a good long time). So here it is...below see a before picture of our hallway.

Not only are these way cool lights, they are solar tubes, so they are like little skylights. During the day we get natural light in a place that was totally dark AND they are lights at night. I'm kind of thrilled too because my momma Ellie and I spend a whole lot of time hanging out in the hallway, and now we get sun patches. In the center of the house! How cool is that!? I mean, I'm so glad mom is happy.
