Friends on Friday

It's Friday and time to do a shout out to our furriends!  So, we have great news from our friend "Frankie". After rescuing and fostering him, he went to live with his new mom.  He's very happy and wanted everyone to know that he's doing great and loving life on the inside.
From Frankie:  "I've got it made.  I get to sit on all the furniture whenever I want. I love to be petted and according to my mom, my  blue eyes always ask for love or attention.  If that doesn't work, my inquisitive meow works fine.  I don't go anywhere near doors. I have no intention of using one.  Ha!"

So guess what "Frankie"'s new name is?   King Louis!

That makes us all purr.

Easy Like Sunday Morning- or is it?

We've had stormy weather this weekend, so snoozing in bed is just the ticket. This may look easy, but it isn't...zzzzzz What? How difficult can it be to laze around in bed?
huh, what? No I'm not Cory Well, sometimes girlies come by and disturb my rest and I need to take a few half hearted swats with my paws...
I know you want to sleep here beside me... The part that is really tricky is figuring out exact center in the bed. I don't have a measuring tape, so I must use my kitty powers to get it just right...not to far to any one side or too close to the head or foot of the bed. Smack in the center is where I belong.

Man Cat Monday- Life is Grand

Last week I got an awesome award from my new pals Milo and Alfie. These 2 brothers have known the rest of my family for awhile, but they are just getting to know me. The rules for accepting this award are simple:

1. You hafta give 5 reasons why you think life is grand.

2. You hafta pass the award on to 5 more blogs.

My mom is so horrible about helping everyone else in the family pass along awards, but this one is so special because my life has completely changed for the better and I've got stuff to say about it, so here goes.

Why my life is grand- by Nigel:

1. I have now found my forever home. I was lucky enough that my mom and dad believed in me and never gave up on me, even though I didn't make it easy on them. I thought life was grand when I scored hanging out in a cool yard where there was a food supply and a dog house where I could shelter. I thought that was all I deserved, but now I know better.Kiss me sweetie 2. I have one brother Madison who lives in the workshop with Cecilia. That means that I am the only Mancat in the house with 5 gorgeous lady cats! Score! Ellie and I have shared our first nose kiss!
3. The little squirt who looks like me is nice enough to share her blog with me. We look alike but she only weighs 8 pounds and I weigh close to 13 pounds. I think she is cool. She is not yet sure about me.

It's good to be king 4. Life is grand because I am now healthy and my furs are all groomed! I look like the handsome Mancat I was meant to be.
5. Life is grand because I discovered Prozac. Better living through pharmaceuticals! I can now start to enjoy my family and stop hiding behind the couch and stop pulling out my tail fur.
Ok, now for 5 blogs. I want to hear from other kitties who are new to their homes:
Jack from Buzzerbee's blog.
Gracie from Camie's Kitties
Iza from Mark's Mews
Stella from Forever Foster. We love you and want to hear more about what you think of having a safe place to raise your babies!
Gracie from William of Mass Destruction. We want to hear from the "Pee Queen" herself!
If there are other kitties out there who have recently found home, go ahead and consider yourself tagged. I didn't want to miss anyone.
