I've been waiting for the weekend ALL WEEK LONG! After a week of looking after a family of kitties, I need my dog time. I got my ball...it's time to go to the park where all the cool dogs hang out.
All my rowdy friends are here. There were so many of us I lost count! We did the bump and run, the roll, the stroll, chase the ball, steal the ball and my personal favorite...chase me!
The weather has been cool and sunny and just perfect for a a dog-gone good time!
It's been months since I've been able to go to the dog park. I've been a whiny impossible pest.
I was supposed to have a play date with my boyfriend Trek, but he stood me up last weekend because he wimped out because of the rain. Hey, this is Oregon! I played in the park by myself that day. Today it's nicer out and there are several dogs. I've never met this boy before and he's kind of cute.
She has healed well, but she is still favoring the leg that is still awaiting surgery. We wanted her to have this brief bit of fun before she has to start round 2.
We are thankful she was so happy!
We did get our little bits of turkey handouts, brought to us in a Ziploc baggie. We understand that our dinner tonight should make up for missing out on the big day.
