We are all gathered in the garden today for a very important cause. I, Jonesie, along with my family am supporting United Paws by spreading the word that if you
buy garden seeds from Renee's Garden (www.reneesgarden.com) and use
code FR227A, 25% of the order goes to United Paws! Renee's Garden is the
wonderful seed company that Raymond and Busby's mom works for. Last
year United Paws only raised a modest amount of money through seed sales and
I want to do everything in my furpower to make sure more money
is raised this year. Thanks to the wonderful Ann at Zoolatry, we have
beautiful badges to support the cause.
We planted these seeds last
year and had wonderful results with their multicolored carrots and
beets (as well as other veggies).
If you would like a badge for your blog, please let us know and we can email you the size you need, or you can just copy the badge below.
Here I am with my dad last year when we harvested our beets.
I think some of you might remember when we did our big end of year harvest when I dug up with my very own paws the beautiful carrots and beets. I can meow with experience that Renee's seeds were pawsome.
Don't forget, all you have to do is buy seeds that you would normally buy for your garden...use code FR227A...
And 25% of your order will go to support United Paws, the wonderful people who saved Cory and Ellie.
Tell 'em Jonesie sent you!
I am hoping that next year we can plant a real garden! We'll get a few things in this year but not too much because the whole yard needs to be done but I hope that by summer I can join the feline gardeners!
Yay! Great post Jonesie and family! We posted about United Paws and Renee's too!
What a cool cause!!
If my human wasn't such a plant killer, we would definitely get seeds from Renee's!
OMC! I love that pic of you all in the hats! Awesome! Our Renee's seeds post is up too. How nice to think it will help United Paws.
Love Alfie xx
Those carrots look pawsome.
We don't plant a garden, but we saw over at Alfie's that Renee sells catnip and cat grasses seeds, so we're gonna ask our mom about getting some of those.
We are SO going to get mom to put up a badge on our bloggie!
Multicoloured carrots?!?! Gosh we have a lot to learn!!! We hope your fundraiser goes brilliantly well :)
That is such a great thing to help a great cause! I still wish I had a garden!
What a great idea! Me shall puts the badge on my site!
That is great that 25% goes to United Paws. If we were in the US we would get our seeds from Renee's Garden too.
Our Mommy can't even keep weeds alive. So we'll leave it to the expert..YOU! Can't wait to see your next harvest!
Mommy actually posted this info on her facebook page (we hope this is all right), and is encouraging her friends to order from Renee's. We hope we can help raise lots of monies!

Those carrots an beets look great. Our carrots never really grew too well last year, so TBT is leavin them in the ground to develop big tops to help grow butterflies THIS year.
You all look so great in your gardening hats! We will take a copy of the badge and put it on our blog.
Yes, it's purrfectly ok to share this information on your bloggies or on Facebook! Spread the meows!
Jonesie and Cory
What a great gardening post, Jonesie and we love the tag for United Paws with lovely Ellie and Cory as the gorgeous covergirls!...Happy weekend, sweet friends...xoxo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
What a neat idea to raise green papers to help cats! :)
Jonesie, You are so verreh adorable in your gardening things that we wish we had a garden, a WINDOWBOX even, but alas, we does not. We have one (1) houseplant and it never does anything interesting, except stay alive, which the Human is proud of. Sigh.
We think it is great that such a worthy cause will benefit from what you are doing :-) Way to go Jonesie!!!
You know you are right--you should have a black house... That would be WAY cool...
We gave you an award! Please come by to collect it. :)
Brilliant veg we can't wait for spring to get all our stuff planted. FAZ
Those are truly awesome carrots and beets. I mean that. Awesome.
I lOVE your garden. Mom already helped me comment but I wanted to say so again. xoxox
How wonderful...and so generous of Renee's Garden! Your vegetables are just beautiful too!

What great news! The peep ordered sweet pea seeds from them last fall (but I don't think she has planted them yet 'cause she ordered too late in the season... what a peep!) and the packets that arrived were BEAUTIFUL! Can`t wait to see them blooming this summer!!!
