Meow! Today is a very special day in the garden. My sister Cory is 4 years old today! Truth is, my mom doesn't know the exact day Cory was born, but when she went to meet momma Ellie back in mid-April 2006, little baby Cory was a weensy sweet little nursing baby kitten about a couple of weeks old. Since she's a silly one, mom thought April 1st seemed to fit her.
I love my sister, but she can't come out in the garden to play with me. She has to wait for me to come back in the house to play. Mom calls her a little innocent and makes her stay indoors. It's my job to grow her vegetables so she can play with them. She depends on me to be the big sister. In honor of her birthday, I worked with mom to figure out a way to safely hang out in the garden with Cory. I thought she'd look pretty in the blossoming tree.
Happy Birthday beautiful sweet silly sister!
Last year our furriends
Maggy and Zoey created this wonderful birthday card for Cory. We still love it, so here it is again! They also created a wonderful spring image of me with my daffodils. Since the daffodils are almost done for the year, I thought I'd say goodbye to them.
So...on with the party for Cory! Hope you can stay awhile, play and help us eat some cheese. I heard that others are bringing ham and shrimp! Niptinis will be flowing...Grete said we could use her dog dish so we can all share. Momo sent a wonderful card! Cory will open the rest of her cards and presents later this evening and into the weekend!
