It's tough being a dog when the weather looks like this...
All that's going on around our house is this...I mean Cory, Ellie and
Bennette are happy to spend their day in a kitty pile. The rain pounds down and they snuggle and snooze and
purrr.
But I'm a dog and I'm ready to rumble! I did not get to go to the dog park this weekend because it was pouring rain. I only got to hang out and play in my yard, while mom complained under cover of an umbrella.
Every time I went outside I had to get my paws wiped off with towels. This is no way to live. I can only comfort myself with the joy that was last weekend...off in my dog park, walking on the paths and trails near where my pals hang out.
Watching the squirrels in the trees. Walking through the fall leaves.
And leading the way back home.

We even had thunder up here and hail and sleet! It was pretty wild. I hope that you get a good time at the dog part Grete! Personally I will be snuggled up in a pile of furs myself.

Sorry the rain has got you down. Maybe you should adopt the attitude "if you can't beat them, join them." Us cats have this rainy-day nap thing down. Looks like you just need to find a nice soft blanket.

Oh Grete, I feel for you! It's odd how the humans really seem to dislike rain! I don't mind it at all. In fact, I think it's fun to get completely wet! And, actually, I love to be towel-dried when we come back in! Anyway, paws crossed that things improve soon! The "Chans" send purrs.

That looks like a lovely walk that you were able to take last weekend, Grete. And now this weekend the cats get to do their favorite cuddling. Hope your rain is over soon and the sun comes back out nicely for you.
We don't mind rain...we had about 3 seconds of it this morning. Our woofies would go out in it if Mom let them. Our woofies can be silly sometimes!! That nap pile looks pretty good to us!

Yes, Poor Grete! I can only tell her that it won't always be raining, so there is dog park in the future as well as the past. I presume she still gets to go out when it snows (or do you get snow where you are?).

I know how you feel.I like rain and sit in the garden and get soaked. Mum has started shutting me in when it rains because I walk muddy footprints all over the bed. Not fair!

Hey Grete. I'm with you. Even though I'm a kitty, I don't have other kitties to get in a pile with and I'd rather be able to go outside anyhow. I LIKE it outside.
