Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

Well, as you know, my sister Cory has gotten herself in a bit of trouble.   She...stole borrowed a Tillamook Cheese Bus.  She thought because she was born in Tillamook that they wouldn't mind.

She said she'd bring it right back.   Now I've heard that Alfie and Milo have had their house move delayed for a couple of weeks.  Cory's still planning on flying over to England to hang out and have a nice long holiday.

::rolls eyes::

Me...I'm staying here.  The weather has been amazing.  I'm getting good garden time.  At this point, Jonesie has given up on me helping her.   I roll in the dirt and cool my belly furs in the grass.

What more could a cat want?

Mitten Mischief

*waving paws*

My beloved Alfie is moving house this week.  I heard a rumor that his mom and dad are going to put him in a PTU and *gasp* drive him and his brother Milo for *gasp* hours!

My Alfie has been stressed watching his toys and stuff get all boxed up...so when I saw the Tillamook Cheese Bus parked near my house for the Farmers Market I knew I had to act fast.

I'm sure no one will miss the Cheese Bus while I...um...borrow it.

Did you know the Cheese Bus is Magic?

Off to Sidmouth England...I've got to get Alfie and Milo to their new home safely!

Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

Welcome back to my garden!  I know it looks like I'm flossing with a blade of grass...but it's just mom with her silly camera angles.

I thought it would be wonderful to show you all of the flowers that are blooming right now.  I know I meow a lot about vegetables, but that can wait a week.

I wish you could smell everything as well as see it...but that's the limitations I face with a blog.

Buddleia

Dahlia

Coneflowers

Daisies

Hibiscus

Peace Rose

Flowers won't exactly feed my family but they make me purr.

Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

I really love rolling in the dirt and getting leaves in my fur.   My mom has been going through withdrawals now that The Tour de France is over.   She needs another sporting event to watch.

It might as well be me!

Ah yes, I've attracted the attention of the pretty Cecilia.  A girl can't resist an athlete like myself.

I wonder what she wants.

Of course!

Momma Meezer Monday

Hi!  I don't have much time to meow today.  Per usual, I'm VERY busy.

You may be wondering why I'm outside.  I'm a pro at doing the door dash.

It's WAY more fun to do the door dash in the summer time.  I've tried it when it's raining outside...not fun at all!  I think I'll stick to dashing into the garage when the weather gets icky.

At least mom gets a photo op...any chance she can get to get a picture of my floofy tail.

Why is it that when the pawpawrazzi is done, I get scooped up and put back in the house?

Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

You know, as a Master Gardener, I think it's important that I make sure that I don't do all the work myself.  It's important to delegate tasks or else I'll spread myself too thin.  My woofie Grete and I have a great relationship.  She is big and can cover a lot more ground than I can...so when I ask her to sniff things for me, she always helps.

I love her.

She still needs me to meow instructions so she knows exactly what she needs to do.  As long as no squirrels distract her, we're good.

Our new artichoke plants have started to produce.

We did not grow these beets...these were from the farmers market...but Grete woofie sniffed them out for us so we know that mom ended up with the best bunch.   I think you saw Cory sticking her head in the bag yesterday.  Mom uses a reusable Whole Foods bag when she goes to the farmers market.  Yes, all Cory found in the bag were vegetables.

Our day lilies are blooming.

purrrr

At the end of a hard day's work, my job is still not done.  I still need to hang out with my dad and remind him of all the good things we did in the garden today.

Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

Whoa.  Things are interesting around here.  Today I'm joined in the tattletailing by my sister Cecilia.  The news is epic, I tell you....EPIC!  Cecilia and I have been hanging out on our deck with the cool chairs and cushions...but someone else has been around here.

Yeah Ginger, you tell it like it is.   The second we turn our backs on the deck..."someone" is lurking.  You can't fool us.

You may need to biggify to see the little trespasser.  Look at that fuzzy head, poking up from behind the deck..under the table.

And there he/she is!  In plain sight!  Some cats have no sense of respect for the property of others.

What?  You mean mom encouraged invited him/her?

pee ess- we don't remember if mom told you but there has been a Meezer hanging out in our yard over the last many months.  It has been meowing outside our window at night, but we've never seen it during the day.  We have never been able to get close enough to even take a photo.   Turns out the little mite has been meowing at our next door neighbors window too.  They have been feeding this little one day and night and now it will come up to them, although they still can't touch him.  The trap will be coming out soon and the little one will get neutered/spayed.  We still don't know if it's a he or a she...but we thing it's looking good that our neighbor will adopt this one if it gets along with their 2 other cats.

We will purrr.

Happy Birthday to Grete- a wee bit late

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to wish me a Happy Birthday yesterday!   Mom didn't do a post for me...not that she forgot or anything like that.

I had a good day.  I got to go to the farmers market.  I got to run around the yard and bark at the neighbor dogs. I got more than my fair share of lovely chicken!

Mom will put up the Birthday header for me (I know she's a slacker for not doing this yesterday...) and it gets to stay up ALL WEEK!

Yay!

Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

It takes strong paws to manage a big garden. I think I'm up to the challenge.  If you are new to gardening, please take time to toughen up your paws.  Start out easy and work your way up.  I didn't become a garden genius overnight.  It took time and lots of practice.

If your paws get tired and hot, cool them in sweet green grass.

I always make sure I take time to relax after a long day snoopervising.   I think you heard that dad messed up the camera settings.  Mom took this wonderful shot of me modeling by the garden beds.  I liked it well enough to post.  Ignore the overexposure.

I've been purring over the basil and it's responding nicely.  I think pesto is in our future.

Ah yes, dad harvested the garlic.  Pesto is definitely in our future!

Oh how wonderful it is.  I know the days are starting to get shorter, but our weather has been amazing and I'm loving every minute of it.
