Wells Fargo Wagon

Cory and Ellie: Oh the Wells Fargo Wagon is a comin' down the street, oh please let it be for me!

Cory: Maybe it's the Hepper Pod we've been asking for?

Ellie: Yes baby girl, maybe it is! This is so exciting! Cory: Uh...I'm not so sure about this...
Ellie: Maybe it's an extra special version of the Hepper Pod...
Cory: Uh, momma, I don't have a good feeling about this.

Cory: Well, maybe it's ok, there is a blankie and a toy in there now. I still don't want to get in there.
Ellie: What the ??? This isn't funny anymore. Let me outa here! Give me the phone! Call the ASPCA! Call my attorney!
Ellie: So not funny dad. Your feet will never feel safe again...

Ellie: Revenge will be sweet.....

Formerly Feral Friday

Cecilia: I've been bad. The weather was beautiful and I refused to go inside the shop for 3 whole nights. I slept in my basket on the deck. Madison: I was worried about my Cecilia. I was lonely for her too. When she finally came back inside I was so relieved!
Cecilia: Madison headbutted me and we nose kissed and made up. I told him I was sorry I worried him. I was close to home the whole time, not more than 3 feet from the back door and momma knew where I was. But...when I don't want to be caught, no one can catch me. I am cute, but I'm still formerly feral.

Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie and Friends

I am seriously not amused. I work long and hard hours in the garden, snoopervising almost non-stop to make sure everything is as it should be. Whatever that means. Mom even saw me chasing off "Mr. Blue Eyes" who came over for a visit from the apartments. It is my garden afterall.
My corn is getting really close to being ready. The ears are still small, but they are forming and I can almost taste the butter now.

But as I'm working to make sure my corn is nice and safe...guess who is lurking...playing in my corn field? My pesky sisters Bennette and Ginger. No respect. You might have to biggify, but they are both in there.
I was hoping that they might get lost in there, like a corn maze for kitties where they never find their way out...but mom and dad didn't plant enough corn this year.

Ginger and her belly...she just can't stop rolling and exposing herself.

And Bennette thinks that looking adorable is somehow helpful. Nope.

I have one final bone to pick with my gossip sister Ginger. She reported a few weeks ago that my yellow and red peppers were somehow defective and that they would...never change color. She denies saying this but I have proof. Well friends, what do you see by my floofy tail?

Yup, a yellow pepper!
Don't forget to see what's up in Alfie Marshall's, garden-cat-in-training, garden!

Tabby Tattletale Tuesday

So, the results of my poll are in...and I'm totally not surprised at the results. I only did the poll because I have enough trouble around here with everyone thinking that I'm a gossip and a drama queen. Oh yeah, I know what they all say. At least this time around I can't be blamed for spilling what everyone knew all along about Cory and her...well, her schoolgirl crushes.I did kind of "borrow" mom's camera so you could see what I've been seeing.
Cory falls asleep in front of the computer screen but wakes up and meows loudly if mom tries to get her to look at any other blog...she's been keeping me from looking at my own favorites (although I admit the Gray Boys are easy on a girls eyes).

I heard Cory murmuring softly "I'm part Meezer, Whitey's part Meezer"..."Whitey loves cheese, I love cheese..."....purrrrr....he's so soo....purrrrzzz....zzzzzz.
Pee Ess...rumors of me losing my footing and falling in the toilet last week are totally false...

Monday Songs- Itsy Bitsy Spider

The Itsy Bitsy Spider by Cory... "The itsy bitsy spider, climbed up the water spout".

"It kept on going to the ceiling so it could dangle into my mouth"....
"On came the lights so I could see my little prey"....

"And the itsy bitsy spider....la la la la into my mouth"....

"The itsy bitsy spider...la la la climbed...oh whatever..."

Sigh....

Easy Like Sunday Morning-

Another Bark Another Sunday...isn't that a song? You'd think that I'd get more blog time than I do. I finally got Cory to give it up to me today. There's nothing better than a Sunday romp in the park. I get all bouncy with anticipation on the path to the off leash dog area where I can chum it up with my pals. We all have so much fun together no matter who shows up. I was thinking what it would be like if there was an "off leash" area for cats. All hissin' and spittin'...for sure. Not us woofies. After the sniffing informality's, we're off for games of chase!
I try to share my ball, but no one seems to like it as much as I do. I even try and squeak it in my friends faces to see if they'll chase me for it. No luck today.

Meanwhile...back at home...while I'm off enjoying the day...

...my kitties demonstrate our differences...

I'm exhausted...wake me up when it's Monday.

Thinking About My Upcoming Blogoversary

My 1st Blogoversary is coming up on September 5th. That's only about 2 weeks away. I've been reflecting on what I want to do to celebrate. I keep on coming up with ideas, but I can't decide.
I'm sure I'll come up with something. Meanwhile, I'll just keep on sitting in the window thinking about it.

Mom's Little Helper

I'm being a good little helper in the kitchen today. I like hanging out on the counter.
Mom is prepping for preserving Jonesie's chive harvest. She won't let me do the chopping because I might cut my paws. I don't understand. I've done a thorough job cleaning my claws. I was thinking I could try and shred them and save her all kinds of work.

Mom stuck the chives in little cups and added a bit of water and then she froze them. They came out in little chive-cicle blocks.

Then she vaccuum sealed them so they won't get all gross in the freezer. I was brave because this machine made all sorts of scary noises, but I never left mom's side. And another thing I did not do...steal the chives and play with them. Chives aren't much fun. They don't roll or go splat when you whap them.
Mom said that I can post about this again in the winter when we pull these out of the freezer and add them to whatever we are cooking. I hope she doesnt' forget!
Meanwhile, I'm not at all pleased that my sister Ginger, the gossip, has started a poll about my interest in certain mancat blogs...I can't tell her anything without the whole world knowing. Not that I told her anything.
