It's supposed to be my birthday today. Actually it's really Mother's Day. My mom is trying to tell me it's the same thing. I'm just confused. Last year my birthday was on May 11th, the year before on May 13th. Now it's supposed to be May 10th?
I was adopted on Mothers Day weekend in 2006 with my daughter Cory. Our Gotcha Day is May 19th. Since my mom had no clue when I was actually born, she thought it would be cute for me to have a floating birthday and just celebrate my day on Mothers Day every year because I was such a good momma. I appreciate the thought, but couldn't you just pick one day and stick with it? I'll let you worship me today, but I think the real celebration for me will be on the 19th. Silly humans...
Today I just want to hang out with my mom and my daughter Cory. That's the best Mothers Day/birthday gift I could receive.

It's hard for cat parents to know when to celebrate our Birthdays. We think having a floating one is kind of cool and Mother's Day is a good time for it.So Happy Birthday and Happy Mother's day to you and to your Mom.
