Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

There's not much new to report on Bojangles. He's still hiding out under the couch and I'm thinking he's just got to take his time in the "room". It's the room we cats have lived in when we came in the house. I took me 3-4 weeks to come out! That's a record. Bennette, never spent a day in the room. That's also a record. Mom felt better when dad reminded her that her velcro lap cat Benjamin spent a full 2 weeks under the very same couch before he came out. Mom can see that food is leaving the dish and the litter box is being used. Other than that, he's in hiding.

So anyway, back to gardening. Once the humans are given their work orders, there's not much for me to do but hang out and check in once in awhile to make sure things get done. Since there is a sun patch today, I'm going to take a nap, trusting that everything will go as planned. There is a ton of plant material from last year that just needs to be hauled out of here. It's time to check up on them. You can see the door they put in the fence so I can go back and forth. I still like to ask them to open the gate for me, just to make sure it still works.

Good job mom and dad, I see the trailer is filling up nicely! We must make sure there is lots of room for new nip plants this year.

We laughed at your label, Jonesie. We think you are very cool:)
What a great door in your fence! We need one of those. When Fui goes to visit our friend next door, he gets stuck on their side of the fence. The crossbars are on our side of the fence, and without them, he can't get to the top. Hahahaha!
It's good to hear Mr. Bojangles is eating and using the litter:)

Jonesie, you always inspire me to get out and gardening. I think the first tulips are showing their green tips!
It is good to have so much experience with cats. Mr. B. will get where the others got too soon!

Seems it may take some time before Mr. Bonjangles feels comfortable enough to dance.
I knew a man Bojangles and he'd dance for you.....

Mr. Bojangles, Mr. Bojangles, Mr. Bojangles, dance..

We're glad Bojangles is eating and pooping ... that's a step in the right direction. Time will sort it all out.

We love your little fence hole - it's neat. Don't put on too much wait though or it'll need enlarging! Hahahaha!

Those are some fine fine pictures of you. We are so happy that Mr.B is inside now and warm and cozy. He'll be afraid for a bit but he'll come around and meet everyone.

Jonesie, we have missed a lot lately because "someone" hasn't helped us blog, but we are so glad to hear that Bojangles is inside and is eating and using the box, and in time we hope he will come out from under the couch so him and your Mom can get to know each other. Her and your Dad are so wonderful looking out for him the way they are, you all are such a wonderful family!

I'm sure Mr BJ will be out and about in no time. I must say that is my kind of gardening.
