I'm sure you're wondering how my baby girl is doing. I've been keeping a close watch over her ever since she came home. Mom gives Cory medicine and she takes like a champ. I'm very proud of her.
Mom wants us to stop eating dry food and change over to wet food. I'm ok with this, but it's hard getting all of us kitties to agree. Mom said we can take a few weeks to adjust so for now we are still getting dry food but we are getting wet food twice a day. We are also trying lots of different foods to see what we like best. I don't think we'll ever agree. So far we still adore classic chicken Fancy Feast. We also like the turkey Wellness canned food and the Tikki Cat chicken. We didn't like some of the other stuff mom brought home...but we love her for trying.
Hi there my furriends! Guess what? The vet called my mom to check up on me. They asked about my pee! How bizarro is that? I mean...who calls you up to check on your pee? And my mom...being equally bizarro...TELLS THEM! I get no privacy around here.
So I have been a very good girl, taking my medicine and making it easy on my mom. She doesn't call me "sweetie mitten" for no reason! Mom tells me I'm doing much better but she's nervous I might have a relapse. I admit I did try and pee in the kitchen one more time but mom saw me gearing up for it and she picked me up and carried me to the litter box. I thanked her for the ride and then did my thing...where I was supposed to do it.
Mom told me I was a good girl.
I knew that!

But, but, but, canned food is BETTER than dry crunchies... Real chunks of chick-hen, sometimes with GRAVY!
I don't know what I would do without my crunchies and fishy flakes. I LOVE my crunchies, cause when you gotta munch you gotta munch...
We're glad that you went in the litter box when your Mom caught you in the kitchen. And we're very glad that you take your medicine as you are supposed to do. That is great!

You are a very good girl my dear. You keep on getting better, I can't stand to see any bootiful ladycats feeling under the weather, and you are a VERY bootiful ladycat!
That's so good your litter habits are back to normal. How about some crunchies as a snack and canned for meals? We get crunchies for early morning breakfast then we get canned for lunch and dinner (this was after I was hospitalised TWICE for blockage - not nice).
Love, Cosmo
We are glad that you are feeling better. Fancy asking about your pee pee. How intrusive! Hope you all find a yummy nommy nosh that you all like :)xx
Good to hear that Cory is better and being such a good girl. Purrs to you, sweetie!
I prefer wet food myself and only munch on dry food when there is absolutely nothing and I am starving.
Binga and Boodie only eat canned food here - I mostly eat canned food, and only get dry to encourage me when I am not eating enough. And even the dry is a higher quality, so-called grain free type.
That vet has a strange fascination with pee! You are both so gorgeous. Cory, we hope you have no relapse and that everybody adjusts to the wet food diet.
Yeah, the mom only stopped measuring Derry's pee clumps last week, after what, almost 6 weeks? Gees....
Good luck on the transition to wet. We still get 1/8 cup kibble a day (1/16 in the AM and again in the PM) because we LOVE kibble and the mom says there's quality of life to consider too. :-D
P.S. Derry is especially picky re: canned, since he prefers kibble, and it's hard to find a food he'll eat. The mom sympathizes with your mom!
MOL...You and Me is so opposite !
Your doctor ran for pee-mail
My Doctor rang for poo-mail
You have to put up with wet food
I have to put up with dried food
You take a pill as a good kitty
I run away for my pill...tee..heh.
But so far so good to hear you feel better
Purrs for you More : )

It's good to get your news, Girls. We're glad you're doing better Cory.
We eat a mix of wet and dry food. #1 just brought huge supplies of wet food back from England for us. She says we eat her out of house and home!
Purrs,
The Chans
Cory, we are so glad you are feeling better! We love our dry foods too, but our mom only gives it to us as a snack. We get mostly canned foods...and we love those too. Hey, we just love foods!!
It will be very exciting to discover a new menu that all of you kids agree on...variety is the spice of life remember :-) Keep up the good work Cory!!!
Mr Puddy's comment made us larf ouwt loud! Tee hee.
We are so glad sweet Cory is feeling better. xx
Soo happy to hear you are doing so well Cory. M would love to switch me over to all wet food, but I really want my kibble. So, now I get my wet food first, and then get kibble spread out over the day in a measured portion. Our vet said it's hard to switch a kitty over to wet after eating dry for 6 years. But M keeps trying.
Wes LOVES wet food and dry food. We each eats about the same amount of each. And we has preferences - People TUNA is number one, but it does not have some of the added vitamins that canned does. So wes gets a can of regular wet foods a day too.
We is glad that Cory is doing better and wes will keep purraying.
Kisses
Nellie
Cory, you are so much better than I at taking your medicine! ~~Orion
I eats dry food a lot. Sometimes I get chicken, though. :)

While you've got your mummy on the run, ask for roast chicken! We like all sorts of cat food, except for tuna.
Sounds like everything is working out for the best there and that's great. I would be lost without my dry crunchies. I only like fish pates and I walk away from everything else!
On the days we don't eat our raw diet, we love Weruva canned foods. Especially Marbela Paela!
Momma Ellie, we are very happy to hear that Cory is doing better. It sounds like she's still not 100%, but with your love and the medicine she'll recover completely. Around here Siena is a big fan of kibble too. She shouts at mom about serving kibble even when there's wet food in the bowl.
Poor Cory!!!
We hope you are feeling well soon my dear. We are trying to eat more wet food too.
Sending big purrs your way!!!
