Mom's a wee bit late with our post because she just got home from the emergency v-e-t after taking me there.
Unfortunately I got a bit plugged up again and I was getting desperate and I even threw up...and my mom knew that meant I could not wait until morning to get me some help. Mom had to leave me there.
Hopefully I will be....

UPDATE
Ginger is now back home after a successful procedure to get him unblocked. We will have to continue to monitor him and give him medication as this is going to be a chronic condition with him.

Oh Ginger! We are so sorry to hear that you had another emergency, but so glad to know that efurrything has been resolved successfully.
Maybe you need to eat more greens like grasses (perhaps kitty grasses) to keep everything flowing.
Poor Ginger. We doubt he had any fun at the vet's. We're so glad he's home and hope this doesn't ever happen again. Even though you said this looks like a chronic condition, we can hope.

Ginger, we're glad you're home! Can diet changes help? The mom is struggling to remember the human stuff recommended for Annie last year, by the vet--it goes under one brand name in the US, another in Canada, but it's to keep things moving along normally.
Ginger,we sure are glad that you are home. We also are sending many many purrs that you will continue to get better. You sure are a cute kitty. Take care.

Oh Ginger--we were out early and did not see the late post. Our purrs. We are glad things helped but are purring that you won't need to do that again for awhile!
Oh, we are so sorry to hear about this! But so glad to hear you are home again.
Oh Ginger...I feel your pain. I was blocked twice and had to be hospitalised for 4 days each time! I'm now on the special diet and Mummy gives me canned food twice a day to help with my moisture intake.
I hope you'll feel better very soon and that your Mommy figures out how to prevent another episode.

PUUUUURRRRRRSSSSS for you Ginger. I'm glad you're home and unplugged.
Mittens has chronic constipation and I give her 1 tsp. of metamucil(unflavored mixed in her soft food) daily! It works!!! I think I would have lost her two years ago if I hadn't found out about it, nothing else worked.
