::3 paw taps::
For those of you who are new...or for our members who get distracted by catnip...the paw tapping is our super secret password.
We had sunbeams in the garden! I was about to give up on seeing the sun, but it finally came through for me.
The trilliums have returned! This time last year we mom and dad and Grete went to the Trillium Festival. They didn't go this year because they got too busy with other stuff. Grete was a bit sad because the park where the festival is held is awesome for walkies.
Our peach tree is starting to get blossoms. This tree was planted last year, so someday we hope it grows big and strong.
Dad needed major snoopervision in pulling some weeds. He calls this type of weeding "drive by" weeding. This means he just pulls weeds randomly while he drinks his water and admires me.
Grete tried to get me to play ball with her, but I said no. There's work I gotta do.
Please leave a link so all of your garden pals can visit!

You have a peach tree?! We are so jealous! Great to see you and Grete, Jonesie. Our Moms do "drive by" weeding too. Hope your Mom's thumb is healing nicely. xoxo
We gotta make a confession (for TBT) about our peach tree. He bought one 5 years ago and couldnt decide where ta plant so he "heeled it in" that Fall. And forgot about it kinna. It send up a great stem. Unfortunately, it was from the root stock. He says you probly know what that means. It flowers lovely evry year but never makes fruits.
Hes gonna have ta dig it out...
We (and he) hope much better for YOUR tree!
It is very nice to see those signs of spring. Suddenly within the past couple of days, we have many more here, but it has been rainy, so no pics. Can Mom post about her allergies instead?

Hi Jonesie, I am relieved to see yoor post. I thort yoor mom's poorly thumb might prevent yoo from posting. I've been sending her healing purrs non-stop.
Yoor garden is looking beautiful. The peach tree is gonna be awesome one day.
The "drive by" weeding made me larf, as mom does this style of weeding all da time. She can't walk past a flower bed wiv owt tugging a small weed up!
Love Alfie xxx
I see you are working hard, Jonesie, even if your male human is being a little, uh, imprecise.
I have not looked at my catnip for a few days. I am kind of afraid to look!

I still purrs for your mom's thumb, I hope she feel better so soon : )

Drive by weeding! Now we know what to call it; that's what our human does, though not very often.
Grete is all fun and no work!! You gotta get her in line, Jonesie!!
Mommy did some drive by weeding when she was picking strawberries.
We likes the trilliums. We don't have them here.
It's so nice that the sun is finally shining for you!
We are assuming that drive-by weeding is better than no-weeding which is how things mostly are around here...
Purrs,
The Chans
Things are looking up in your

your garden is already farther ahead den ours. But we know summer is coming now when we see the flowers popping out.
Jonesie your garden is looking lovely! Hope your mum's thumb is getting better :-)
You sure do have things looking so very nice!!!
We like the "drive-by" weeding, too. Thats why our flowerbeds are only weeded in the front 3 feet!

Oh, it's so wonderful to see you all in the sunshine, and the grass is so green! Things are starting to blossom -- including the weeds. Yes, they are an unfortunate part of gardening, but I guess Daddy will get them sooner or later in one of his drive-bys!
Good job staying on top of things, Jonesie!
