Tuesday Tales

We had a whole lot of rainy and stormy weather over the weekend. My mom and dad looked out the window and they were all a buzz about something in the yard. I looked out the window to see what the fuss what about and this is what I saw...
A piece of the willow tree had snapped off! We were just happy that no kitties were under the tree at the time. We have a family of birdies living in the tree too, but they didn't seem to be harmed either.
As dad chopped up the tree branch he looked carefully for birdie nests.

Jonesie went out and inspected to make sure everything was moving along as planned. Our poor garden cart was under the branch when it fell so now it is all bent up.

Too bad the tree branch can't stay here because it makes a really nice place to sit as Jonesie demonstrates!

We are glad the only thing that got hurt was the garden cart. We hope the tree didn't suffer the loss of its limb too much.

Phew! What a storm! Good job you were all safe inside. And now there's all the "after the storm" clearing up to do! We liked the music, very appropriate ... pick up the pieces! In fact we're hanging around for a while to listen to it!

A gardener's work is never done.

Gosh, glad that tree didn't land on kitties or your home! Maybe some of the tree could be left for Jonesie, it makes a luffly garden throne for her.

It wasn't very nice of that storm to hurt your tree. We're glad nobody was hurt.

We're glad no one got hurt by the tree, but it's too bad about the tree; The Mommy always hates to see stately ol' trees come down in storms.

That must have been quite a storm to split a branch of your willow off! We're glad nobody was hurt.

Yes, it's a good thing that nobody was hurt! When I saw the first picture of the branch, I actually thought it was a snake, the way it was twisted! I thought that was a very huge snake!

Luckily, though, it was not, and once safe on the ground, it makes a wonderful purrch for kitties!

Wow! What a drama! We were at the summer house during the bad weather and we were really nervous some of the trees would snap. Only tiny branch did. Phephw. Or something.

We're glad everyone is all right - even the birdies.

PS: Sorry for missing a lot of your posts. Lazy humans.
