Tabby Tattletale Tuesday
I've got a confession to make. It was me.
I was the one who gave Oliver the super secret password to the Society of Feline Gardeners. Yeah, I know. I have a reputation as the family gossip. Jonesie trusted me with the password and until now I have NEVER EVER revealed it.
The little dog is evil. He manipulated me into giving it to him.
He looked at me with those eyes. Yeah I know, I should have been able to resist, but I couldn't.
I know I've seen that look before. I knew how dangerous it was. But I couldn't quite place it.
By the time I recognized it, it was too late...
And the password was his...and then he chased me!

Momma Meezer Monday
Oh no Oliver! Do not destroy the paper towels! We need them to uh...clean up hairballs and stuff.
Oliver, as momma here, it's up to me to give you a rundown of the rules. First you must do everything I say. Second you must do everything Cory says. Third, you can listen to Grete but you must do as Cory and I say. Fourth...oh maybe that's just too much for you right now.
Oliver, one day when you are ready I'll sit you down and tell you all of our stories. Like you, we were all homeless at one point in our lives. Yes I know it's hard to believe, but it's true.
Grete, I need your help with this one. No matter what I say, he has the same look on his face.

Sunday Projects
One of the first things we did as a family is build a fenced off area to keep Oliver out of trouble. Our fence is great for Grete woofie, but there are too many places for little Oliver to escape. Grete and Oliver went to the home improvement store to find just the right fence panels for our yard.
It was Oliver's first shopping trip and he was SO excited! Grete was so proud to show him around. She's an old pro at this.
Once they brought home the materials, dad and I got to work. It's important to place your paws on the spots where dad is supposed to put the fence posts, otherwise he wouldn't know where to put them.
As a builder cat, I take pride in a job well done. This should keep the little squirt from pestering us in the rest of the yard.
That's right Oliver, the rest of the yard belongs to us cats!

I'm in!!!
Yesterday was a big day. Mom and dad took me back to Petsmart. I saw all my old pals there. I thought I was going back in the pen for sure.
But then...mom sat down and signed a whole bunch of papers. Then dad took me shopping for a new harness, just for me. I have a new name, Oliver. It makes my tail wag!
And then we left the store. As a family! All my hard work paid off!
Playing nice with Grete's toys.
Those sad "please keep me" eyes.
But I think it was this kiss that sealed the deal! I know the real decision maker in this family.
I've only been here a little less than a week and it seems like I've always been here.
