Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

You know, as a Master Gardener, I think it's important that I make sure that I don't do all the work myself.  It's important to delegate tasks or else I'll spread myself too thin.  My woofie Grete and I have a great relationship.  She is big and can cover a lot more ground than I can...so when I ask her to sniff things for me, she always helps.

I love her.

She still needs me to meow instructions so she knows exactly what she needs to do.  As long as no squirrels distract her, we're good.

Our new artichoke plants have started to produce.

We did not grow these beets...these were from the farmers market...but Grete woofie sniffed them out for us so we know that mom ended up with the best bunch.   I think you saw Cory sticking her head in the bag yesterday.  Mom uses a reusable Whole Foods bag when she goes to the farmers market.  Yes, all Cory found in the bag were vegetables.

Our day lilies are blooming.

purrrr

At the end of a hard day's work, my job is still not done.  I still need to hang out with my dad and remind him of all the good things we did in the garden today.

Gardening is hard. And it may get harder for Ichiro if Gemini is going to go look at the grass on the other side of the fence...

How smart you are to delegate! We love watching these artichokes grow. Our Mommy thinks they are pretty. (pretty yummy)

Even with help, there is never a moment you aren't busy, Jonesie!

Good help is hard to find. It sounds like your delegation helps get the job done right!

You obviously work very hard at snoopervising the garden and yard. Your daddy and you deserve your rest after a day of labor!

Looks like the garden is keeping you busy. It is raining so much here we can't get outside to do anything.

Wow, you look busy there..... Just don't get close to those Lillies, remind mom to keep them away from you as they are deadly to kitties.
Have a good Sunday!

Having a good assistant sounds grete. I could use one myself. ~ Iza

Grete sure is a great helper, Jonesie. We think it's wonderful that you and dad can relax together and reflect on all the hard work you did in your beautiful garden.
