Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

It takes strong paws to manage a big garden. I think I'm up to the challenge.  If you are new to gardening, please take time to toughen up your paws.  Start out easy and work your way up.  I didn't become a garden genius overnight.  It took time and lots of practice.

If your paws get tired and hot, cool them in sweet green grass.

I always make sure I take time to relax after a long day snoopervising.   I think you heard that dad messed up the camera settings.  Mom took this wonderful shot of me modeling by the garden beds.  I liked it well enough to post.  Ignore the overexposure.

I've been purring over the basil and it's responding nicely.  I think pesto is in our future.

Ah yes, dad harvested the garlic.  Pesto is definitely in our future!

Oh how wonderful it is.  I know the days are starting to get shorter, but our weather has been amazing and I'm loving every minute of it.

My human is dying for some freshly made pesto - of course, she is a slacker and has not put in the garden effort to earn it!

Wow, look at all of that garlic! The head peep may have just drooled at that picture. She embarrasses us sometimes.

Lucky you to have good weather and fresh garlic. We have the basil and lots of other herbs, including nip, but no garlic. And if things get any soggier here, we believe we all might just melt away to nothing. Have some pesto for us. Can you make pesto with nip? Now that sounds really nommy. Hi Jonesie,

I messed up this week ~ I forgot to water muh herbs and two of them wilted in the heat. I'm gonna try and paw them back to health though.
Your garlic looks amazing!!!!

Jonesie, your garlic doesn't half look good. Our apes would be overjoyed with those bulbs. Do't work too hard though.

Now, Jonesie, could you give your apes a nudge please? It appears that as it's the 14th of January, it's Grete's Birthday.

So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRETE!! We hope you have a "GRETE" day (haha) and you get a nice big steak all to yourself
