Society of Feline Gardeners- Thursday in the Garden with Jonesie

::Meowwww::

There now, I've got your attention!

The weather is starting to turn here.  We are going to get a few more beautiful sunny days and then next week the rain will be headed our way.   Mom has been so distracted with Ginger that she has not helped me much in the yard.  Mom better get busy because the basil and tomatoes must be picked.  Now!

With mom and dad not gardening much this week, I can always count on my best pal Grete to keep me company.   Here she is with her old ball.  Mom let Grete keep it after Grete popped the squeaker out of it.

Don't worry, as of this posting Grete now has a brand new ball that has a squeaker that's harder to kill.

I spent some time at the fence looking for evil woofies.  This makes mom upset so she picks me up and places me back in middle of the yard.  She doesn't want me borrowing any trouble.

Moms are so silly.

Grete, we think you are such a beautiful dog! And Jonesie, we think not looking to borrow any trouble is very good advice...so listen to your Mama!!

If I were you, I would steer clear of those dogs, Jonesie! For once your human is right - there's no sense inviting trouble!

I have doggie neighbours now and I steer clear of them. You too, Jonesie. We don't want anything to happen to any of you.

There's a lot going on at your house. Did you help make the marinara sauce or at least pick out the veggies for it?

I think you should listen to your Mom, Jonesie. Not all woofies are like Greta and there's no sense in inviting trouble. :)

We thinks the middle of the yard sounds MUCH safer! Best to listen to Mom on this one! xoxo

You two look so cute together - and a match for any evil dogs. How's Ginger and Figaro?

I think the place you mommy put you is a good idea, You can see evil doggie in da distance and you have a chance to run away!

Stay clear of the evil woofies pals. They can be very mean.

We always like to see Grete protecting the garden. Try to stay out of trouble, Jonesie. We have rain coming next week too. Seems a bit early.

Moms are very silly.

Grete, Fenris wants to come play ball with you.

We all hope Ginger is feeling better. Jonesie, while we understand your frustration with the parents not helping you in the garden Ginger had to come first. Hope the tomato and basil get picked in time.

Dogs are bad news, unless they are well behaved and beautiful like Grete!

Well, it's a good thing you at least have Grete to help you out in the garden, Jonesie, although I don't think either one of you can do the picking.

I'm sure Grete would save you from any evil woofies you happen to come across. She makes a great bodyguard.

Listen to your mum Jonesie and stay away from nasty woofies! We know Grete will look after you well :-)

Well Jonesie, it is better to err ont he side of caution. We don't want any evil woofies coming after you!

Tell your Mom to be careful of balls with holes in them. Woofies tongues can get stuck in them and then bad things happen.

Jonesie
You did a fabulous job in the garden without help from the Mom or Dad.
With a little help from Grete.
